-Mort once canonically captured and killed his grandparents, in order to consume their life essence.

The mort scene was deleted because King Julian canonically doesnt like Mort to be around his feet, so it was very uncharacteristic and not faithful to the source material. No other reason

Fun fact: In one scene in Madagascar (2005) where the police raid the train station, the skipper penguin says "we've been ratted out boys". That's a reference to Batman (1989). Jack Nicholson said that exact line when him and his goons found the safe empty.
Bonus fact: This is the only film in the franchise to release on VHS, the others were only released on DVD.
VHS died out around 2005 I think. The Incredibles was probably the last video I ever owned back then

According to the person who originally sang Chug Jug, the label that owns the original song "American Boy" used the Chug Jug parody song and copyright claimed it.
So basically, the label did a copyright claim using a parody of their song, which I don't think they own the rights to. They own the rights to the original and not the parody, I think.
