This is a great tutorial. I wonder how to convert it to using african flower hexagon or pentagon?
I think it will be a very similar pattern to this, just replacing the top of the shell with the african flower, it will be bigger than this

I've used both for amigurumis. I honestly didn't feel much difference. Usually the colour is more important for me💗

Yes but only use thicker hook if your yarn is thicker. Otherwise there will be gaps between your stitches when you stuff it💗
