- It's just an ordinary BBC broadcast in 2002... Or was it?
This EAS scenario may contain topics that may be sensitive to some people.
Viewer discretion is advised. Any future events that are similar to this are purely coincidental.
Do not play this in public or broadcast this as it will cause mass panic. I am not responsible for your actions. - วิทยาศาสตร์และเทคโนโลยี
Why would they be giving the viewer play-by-play updates of a shooting in progress via EAS cards lmfao
Here's a good tip to know: Emergency services like an ambulance do not arrive to suspect scenes such as this one until the threats have been officially cleared, so perhaps in the future do not talk about how victims have passed away while being rushed to the hospital, if there is still an ongoing threat. This is how emergency services work in the U.S., and unless I'm mistaken it must work the same in the U.K.
Emergency services (police, fire & ambulance) will always respond to emergencies, they will usually be behind armed police escort as they have tactical gear to enable their capabilities.
Correct, but they will not immediately engage into the situation.@@safeduty
So the police are scared?🧍♂️

If that were to happen, there are some scenarios:
The first priority would be to alert security personnel, staff, and potentially law enforcement agencies about the situation to ensure a rapid response.
If possible, studio occupants would be evacuated to a safe location. This would include employees, guests, and anyone else present in the studio.
In some cases, a lockdown might be initiated to contain the suspect within a specific area to minimize their movement and prevent further harm.
Local law enforcement agencies would be called in to handle the situation. Trained officers would assess the threat, attempt to negotiate if feasible, and use force if necessary to neutralize the suspect.
Keeping the public informed would be a priority. The media organization, in this case, the BBC, would work closely with law enforcement to provide accurate information to the public while not compromising safety.
Following the incident, a thorough investigation would take place to determine the motive of the suspect, how they gained access to the studio, and if there were any accomplices.
That ending gave me chills, so good.
one minor nit-pick which really isn't a problem is I feel like if this happened in real life they would start evacuating everyone from the building instantly, they wouldn't bother setting up a full message for the broadcasts, they'd probably just cut them to the signing off screen and then leave it at that while they got everyone out, still, it's not really a problem.
@@tylery253 how would I know? I mean based on how most real shooter scenarios go I can assume that most likely yes.
The gunshot at the end scared the shit out of me
@@stats265 ik right omg
JESUS THAT END BIT SCARED ME
Anyway, you're doing very well on these EAS scenarios! :)
Why?
@@peterosullivan4764 bc the ending part did
Same!
The speaker was surprisingly focused on broadcasting to the extent, she didn't even hear that door knocking or even notice the murderer. All in all, the ending gave me chills as intended.
Imagine, being a normal guy, when they update that there was a shooter. You think: (my friend works there). When they announce the death your mom tells you your friend passed away…
Edit: does the shooter play roblox because goddamn he probably be parkouring through the entire studio
He used :fling all
Or Even Worse, Imagine Being A Guy, Not Realizing The Shooter Was They Childhood Friend.
Could you do an Channel 5 hostage situation EAS scenario please?
You are one sick puppy and that's why these are so entertaining 😂
The gunshot at the end nearly got me. You can even hear the knocking briefly.
I guess the shooter didn't want to pay his tv licence fee
What a weirdly edited ending.
Facts
This scenario was crap - but that said liked the jumpscare at the end
Could you make any Swedish EAS? :)
yes do it
The pauses are what really scare me.
7:36 *Woman yelps shortly in lower pitch and gets shot by a shooter and dies!*
THE ENDING ACTUALLY SCARED ME OMG
Hey,for a beginner you are doing it great, try use some commercials between some sentences so it have a kind of a rythm and no long pauses.
Keep it up bro,cheers.
the BBC doesn't air commercials 😐
@@Nitrooooooogen my bad,i didn't know
The ending made my heart drop
2002 is wild
to be honest that's the time period where these EAS scenario's are the scariest, it gives the early 2000s vibe to it
Hi, here’s a tip for you should fix the length between sentences, because it goes for too long, I also recommend adding some calming music to the please standby sections
Okaychamp
yeah just add calming music to a shooting 😂
@@imaflyinmiget5499 well some people do it
How about Elevator Jam from Doors?
@@peterosullivan4764It would be too "cheerful".
At least it’s not the end of the world this time
first of all, EASes alert EVERY SINGLE TV STATION AND PHONE CELL TOWER, so nobody would raise an EAS over that
secondly, there is no SAME header (possible that in the UK they don't have one tho), and also there is no attention signal
also they would not describe the suspect or send "updates" about their situation, what they would do instead is just play commericals on loop or smth and then deal with the situation
also EASes only have 1 message in them I think
also you would not hear the gun sound effect at the end, at most it would just say "no signal" or have static
Meanwhile, also on the BBC:
Everybody out!
Except you, you have to keep doing the text for the news.
geez i got scared at the end
add the bbc news tune and its a good thing
yeah yeah i don't just live inside BBC HQ, i don't give two Five Nights at Freddy's Character Encyclopedia's

so, apparently the words *"this is a FICTIONAL EAS SCENARIO AND IS NOT REAL"* don't ring a bell to thy?
this is why major eas creators put giant, neon red disclaimers both in their video titles and at the beginning of their videos
@@Terrythebearyou really shouldn’t be scared if this was real and you were born at that time because it doesn’t effect you. Also, their not gonna make a whole ass eas alarm over a shooting

False Alarm!

It would be pretty pathetic and sad to know that you are trying to shame other creators being an adult.
