On the topic of Gavin saying the Elites have got quick arm: The Elites in Halo 4 can punch in a tenth of a second. At 60 frames per second, only 10 of them have the animation (watch Act Man's video for the source of that timing). 1 second is 1,000 milliseconds, 1,000 divided by 60 is 16.6666666 recurring, for simplicity we're going to round it up to 16.7. Meaning 1 frame happens in 16.7 milliseconds, times that by 10 to get 167 milliseconds for 10 frames. To put that into context, the average blink takes around 400 milliseconds to do and the average human reaction to visual stimuli is in the ballpark of 250 milliseconds, some sources say 280, some say 215. Either way, they can punch faster than most humans can react. Combine that with the attack being a 1 hit on Legendary and you have the recipe for bullshit. Further combine that with messed up hitboxes (Front-Back) and it gets worse.

@@jittercritter I was fueled by my bitter hatred of Halo 4. I recently played it through, it wasn't as bad as I remember, but is still the worst Halo I've played hands down. (I haven't and won't play 5 and spartan ops on steam, other than that if it's a Halo game I've probably played it.)
Halo 4 had by far the worst Covenant in the series, but I have to assign blame where blame is due: The Elite lightning-punch was introduced in Reach.

2 years later, and I think it's safe to say that was Michael's fault. Since half the team was in the stairwell, it warped the rest in. If he hadn't gone to goof off with Gav, the mantis wouldn't have been crushed. Still ultimately Gavin's fault, though. Just stay behind the giant robot.

These in video edited comments like ‘they could have skipped the level EASILY when ....’ make me irrationally annoyed. They don’t follow meta LASO because they want to make a great video. They didn’t skip the easiest level to skip even when Gavin suggested it and it’s one of the best videos in the series.
