The story mode of the game is not driven by honorable men and women, but the most ruthless, vicious aggressors, on all sides. 'For Honor' is the reason they are fighting, not the way they fight.

Years later and I don't remember anything about For Honor's story mode despite playing through it twice. But I remember this song. I think for my own taste this is overall the best thing to come from For Honor and it's not even from the actual devs.

Yes, Apollyon is truly a magnificent vilain, she is not here to do evil, she wants to return to a strong eats weaks world, she is not a "bad" person, she even grants mercy to those who tries to kill her and to each she deems strong, from whatever faction they are... At the end, she fought until her death for her convitions, which is quite impressive ^^
I just wish the game was still more alive.. This game is the greatest of its type, you can't argue that there is another pvp medieval game with such mechanics, story and characters

Normally I never like Gavin's songs when I first hear them. I think it's cause they have so much layers and complexity. My favorite MOS song is actually Clockworks and I was like meh, the first time I heard it, but there was this hook that got me the "Out of time, I go running, as you're running out of time" bit. That made me replay the song again, and again until the song was familiar and I could spot new intricate details like how the clock ticking sound is (almost) ever present. All that is to say that this the first MOS song I hear that instantly grabbed me, and I can tell that I'm going to be listening to this song repeatedly for a long long time. Good job, Gav, lot's of love

Watching the video, and seeing all the half-swording makes me happy. It's a game that knows enough about history to do good details, but understands that imagination is fun, and knights v Vikings v Samurai was already a good idea.
I love the knights portion, I was reminded of this song when I found some plate armor in Kingdom come deliverance after also learning more about my weapon and returning to a foe that slayed me multiple times and we had a grand battle that ultimately led in his destruction and the reclamation of my pride and honor.

There is actually a story here. The first thing we see is a squire being knighted. I am going to call him George. So, after George is knighted, we fast forward to see him leaving a assassin guy behind. Then, he is on the battlefield. George then fights the Viking commander, the guy who jumps out the window, then he is having a duel with a samurai. Then, when the samurai is running away, George meets him on the stairs. At the end, we see him as a really powerful knight.
You got most of it right. The assassin is a woman by the way. Also he leaves because he disagreed with how his leader (black knight at the end) viewed the world and war. The knight at the end is a different character in the game. Her name is Apollyon and is the main villain. She is the leader the knight leaves. This song is 6 years old , i don’t think the new factions were out yet , but this would be cool
There is actually a story here. The first thing we see is a squire being knighted. I am going to call him George. So, after George is knighted, we fast forward to see him leaving a assassin guy behind. Then, he is on the battlefield. George then fights the Viking commander, the guy who jumps out the window, then he is having a duel with a samurai. Then, when the samurai is running away, George meets him on the stairs. At the end, we see him as a really powerful knight.
You got most of it right. The assassin is a woman by the way. Also he leaves because he disagreed with how his leader (black knight at the end) viewed the world and war.
The knight at the end is a different character in the game. Her name is Apollyon and is the main villain. She is the leader the knight leaves.
