@@HalosOfLight - Turns out Swans are going to be in Chicago soon, quite near me, and I’ve been pretty under the weather lately and not going out a lot … but I think I’m going to buy tickets and pop a bunch of pills so I can stand up and get out the door, and I’m going to go see them perform live. So I owe you my gratitude, in a way: without your video, I might not’ve known they were touring!!
@@HalosOfLight Appreciate that. Gonna probably wear a pair of those over ear noise cancelling things jackhammer operators use when I get a chance to see them.
From both research and my own experience, yes. I heard that their shows are consistently at 120dB. So if you reved a chainsaw and put your ear up to the motor, that's how loud they are for 2 and a half hours.
Just saw them and it was the loudest concert I have ever seen. It was so loud I had to put AirPods with anc on just to stay in the room. Bring ear protection. Still absolutely amazing
one of the best shows i’ll ever have attended thanks for the footage
I saw Swans in Manchester in August 2023. It was a very religious/spiritual experience.
I love those moments when, it’s so loud, we can see the camera shaking!
I could feel my teeth rattling. It was wonderful.

Couldn’t believe they played over 2 hours. Definitely got money’s worth.
Current lineup is fantastic.
I already miss them. I hope they come back soon. 🙏
You are a hero, man!

Are the Swans shows unbelievably loud like I've heard?
Definitely. The only shows I have personally been to that might have been louder are Torche and The Body - both notoriously loud.

Scott Walker tune on the PA
It sounded like if jack the pumpkin king was just a regular guy!!🤔🤔
Easiest gig for bass
so, no entire concert.
I recorded this all on my phone and was at 3% when they took intermission. I might have like 15 more minutes I can upload but that's it
@@HalosOfLight thanks so much for what you have though bro, really
