There's no relationship like Sir Ian and Sir Patrick. There's only admiration to see such lasting and loving friendship of two incredibly important actors.

It is because their lives mirror each other exactly. Both working class northern men who grew less than 30 miles apart, that ended up being the greatest Shakespearian actors of their generation, that went onto be globally in the same movie. So there is a lot of kinship between themselves in a similar was Idris Elba has great kinship with Chiwetel Ejiori because they grew up in east London and blew up together too.
The only show where the guests actually look comfortable to be there just laughing
He is so good at letting them speak among themselves! He knows excactly when to talk, and when to let the show just unfold. It's incredible to watch.

@@derekwork6749 Good point. It does wonders for the storytelling. But Graham really sets the atmosphere. And like Will Smith said " Talk shows are like a tennis match. It's not just questions and answers. And he (Graham) is just magnificent at setting the game up for you to win."

How Ian McKellen waved and sent a hand kiss to Hugh's mom makes me feel like they met before. Seeing how close the three on that couch are it wouldn't surprise me and now I love sir Ian even more ❤️
Well yeah, they worked on a lot of films together, Ian may have met Hugh's mother at premieres or just behind the scenes at one point. Very sweet indeed

liam ferns literally no American host compares or comes even remotely close to be fair no other host at all comes close, conan might very well be the best American host but even Johnathan Ross is a better host, and I’m not being bias towards the Irish and British hosts (and yes I know Conan has irish heritage), James cordons show is absolutely awful might be the worst one in America.
It's so incredible to see men being so loving and openly affectionate with each other. I realized how deprived I've been of seeing that as an American when Graham greeted Ian with a, "hello darling" and a kiss, and I started to tear up.
I thought that was lovely too. And just before that: the kiss between Ian and Patrick, that was so adorable.

@@keziahjose5906 I don't live in Britain so I couldn't say... however, personally I only greet my very close friends with a kiss on the lips. Generally (corona controlled social distancing aside) here in The Netherlands friends greet each other with three kisses on the cheeks.

graham norton show is the best show because the guests get to move around freely and not just sit and talk but to have fun and interact with eachother. I also like how they have a variety of guests so they can talk about different things.
Corden has tried to copy it, but it's not the same

Watching Hugh Jackman, SIr Ian McKellen and Sir Patrick Stewart together is just wonderful. You can see the real friendship between these three. Hugh Jackman's face when he realizes it's McKellen's voice and he's actually there is priceless. Just like Ian McKellen tearing up when he rewatches the video Hugh Jackman made for his 80th birthday on another episode of TGNS.
