I have watched and enjoyed your videos for years. And this series is my favorite! Thanks for sharing your process, including all the drama and real life!
Yes! Same here. When we first started two of my sisters and my mom and I would scrapbook together. My Dad asked us, "What do you girls do when you get done?" LOL You are never done.
Awesome job, Donna! Love ❤❤ this series and will be referring back to it when I work on my 33.5 year career album for Pete's time in the RCAF! Wonderful job!
I think choosing paper and embellishments are the things that take so much time! I don't always use a lot of embellishments just so I can get a project done :) But I LOVE power layouting and need to use it more with choosing my papers/embellishments. Like you, I often leave them until I'm actually doing the page. You're doing great!
Thank you, Sandy! Yes, the paper selection. I just filmed a bit about that for episode 9. Like... it's never going to be perfect. If I wait for every paper to be the perfect paper, I'll never get done. Thanks for watching!
I find myself looking forward to your antics and to see what you get done. You are encouraging me a lot on my projects too. Thank you much. You got this.
As I worked on my dissertation, I became a great procrastinator. However, my sister was not a supporter, she was always doubtful that I would ever complete my doctorate. She was one of the people that I had to laugh at when I won many awards for my completed dissertation that changed the way people taught forever! Stick to your guns, you WILL complete this project, but creativity takes time and is so much fun in the process!
You're doing an amazing job, Donna! I appreciate you taking us along on the journey. I have two gift albums that I need to get going on, this is certainly motivating! Caren
I am really encouraged and enjoying this series. Can you explain how you put together your two 13 x 13 mats together? I just got a second mat but would love to know how to put them together so they always match up.
But then I'd have to get out of my chair and walk all the way upstairs. 😆 Also, I do NOT trust myself with baby powder around scrapbooks. Nothing good would come of that.
Can’t wait for the flip-through!
Yay! Me either!!
Yay! You go girl! You’re doing such a great job. I can’t wait till the next episode.
Thank you so much for watching!

Wow! Thank you so much, Julie! I appreciate that. I have so enjoyed doing this series and am so glad it's been enjoyed by others.
I love scrapbooking with my sister. She makes it fun.

You are so fun to watch! And you and your sister together are a hoot!! Thank you for making my day!

Thank you! Having those papers selected makes all the difference in the world. I'll talk about that more in episode 9 for sure!
You and your sister look so much alike!! How fun to share your hobby with her!!
We really do. 🥰
The end is in sight, that should help motivate you. The paper selection is always my hangup. You're gonna get 'er done!

I am so glad, Caren! Thank you for watching!
Really enjoying this series
I'm so glad - thank you!
Great job! TFS
Thank you!
You can do it!
Thank you, Cynthia!
It’s great to see you procrastinate and getting in gear. Makes you very human to another procrastinator!
Love the page count!
Cheering you on
Thank you so much! And oh, I can procrastinate with the best of them! 😄
I just loved seeing you and your sister! That’s how it is with sisters and I love it😂
Yes it is! We have so much fun together.
I am loving this series.... although I am feeling "sympathy stress" for you LOL xo Vicky
LOL thank you!

Thank you! And absolutely! I'll even show a clip in episode 9. But I taped them together with painter's tape!
Lori kills me lol
😅
The regular tape runner should remove with the gummy eraser.
The Pick-Up Square wasn't getting it done. I did try that. In it's defense, it was a LOT of tape.
Is this the last one??? Where are the rest and then the flip through of the completed books?? This is like a suspense novel I need to see the end.
Thanks for watching! It's definitely not the last one. It's an 11-week series so there are THREE more episodes! 😃
Use baby powder that takes the sticky off
But then I'd have to get out of my chair and walk all the way upstairs. 😆 Also, I do NOT trust myself with baby powder around scrapbooks. Nothing good would come of that.
