Hello sir you know for the first question , I tried to use discriminant but it gives me a wrong answer , so how would I know when to use discriminant or when to complete the square ? Many thanks .
The discriminant is only used when you want to create a relationship for the number of solutions (i.e. if it tells you there's 0, 1 or 2 solutions). Hope this helps!
I love this tysm!!!
Thank you!

I was watching your previous vid on binomial expansion? is it only for Edexcel or does it apply to AQA too?
I'd say that binomial expansion applies to both exam boards since the topic's in both the Edexcel and AQA level 2 GCSE further maths curriculum
Yup, it is for both exam boards!
