Subang Perade is older than Sogo Mall and large too, built in 1984 located in Subang, Selangor. You can visit it later. However, Ampang Park Mall was initially built in 1972 and opened to the public on 15 March 1973, but has now been demolished to make way for the MRT station of the same name. You can see its history by taking the Kelana Jaya MRT and getting off at Ampang Park station which has now been converted into an open park... 'Memories' of when I was a teenager in this mall hanging out with friends 20 yrs ago at every time after work... enjoy👍
That KTM Komuter train you took is not that frequent, roughly one per hour. If you dont wanna spend lots of time waiting at platform, check the schedule on the station wall or online and only enter the platform shortly before estimated arrival time. Since you went on Sunday, not much street food varieties at Jalan TAR. Night market there on Saturdays only. 12:40 that clock is 87 years old and central market is another half century older.
Good comment. Thanks a lot. I really liked that clock, wild it’s almost a century old. From Mont Kiara nothing is really convenient. I move to a new condo soon and my next vlog will probably be a tour of the property.
When you visit KL again in the not too distant in the future, there'll be more new malls, the latest one is still in progress of construction, it sits near the foot of Merdeka 118 Tower.
It’s been such a memorable trip, certainly many good times. I have made progress exploring this part of the world and so happy I came here to see things now. The growth and development surely makes myself and many others want to come back later.

Sogo is literally for the middle class shoppers, for luxury retailers are the Pavilion, TRX, Suria KLCC, etc Famous electronic boutiques for decades are always in the Low Yatt plaza.. 👍
Sogo is more local stalls compared to international brands. If you are looking for international brands trx, pavilion, suria klcc, midvalley , lalaport, lot 10 can be a good pick

Maybe you’re specifically referring to the woman who was swept away after falling into a sinkhole in KL. Sadly, I heard she was never found.
My kind of mall back in the 90s
Feel old now
26:52 if you exit from here you should able to see the first and only shake shack restaurant in Malaysia outside the apple store.
