Full transparency, I didn’t like being a mom when my kids were little. I had to really be still and regroup my thinking. I eventually pulled back at work and went part time. It was a perfect balance. In hindsight just like you said, I wish I was more present with those precious moments. They’re now adults and I try to spend as much time as I can with them. I’m grateful to God that they forgave me and still want to spend time with me. ❤❤❤❤
@@BelindaM44 thank you for that. But we’ve had multiple conversations throughout the years and they know it had nothing to do with them. Having honest conversations and being accountable changed the trajectory of our relationship. I’m grateful for their compassion for me. ❤️
I love Maddy's philosophy about living well below your means. That's so profoundly beneficial for peace of mind, especially in today's uncertain times. And that line at the end about living and appreciating a simple life. Pure gold! I can see why Dominique wanted to share this special lady with us.
I would love to have Maddy in my workplace. She seems bold but honest, ambitious but down to earth. That's a rarity in the media industry where I also work.
Oh my -- Maddy is so genuine and so fun to share conversation with. She's an inspiration, as you are, to us all. Thank you for highlighting Maddy this week!
I'm conflicted. She's obviously phenomenally talented...but I have to know the product I'm selling is good for people. Energy drinks are toxic. There are so many unhealthy people because of crap products and great marketing...I'm sorry I just can't get behind that.
I really enjoyed this podcast. I think it was one of the best ones so far. Alot of the things said resonated with me, especially the part where you sáid to just be. That is whát I am learning right now. Thank you for helping me realise I am not alone ❤
Dominique I love all your over 50 and flourishing podcasts. I feel embarrassed but have you ever thought of doing one on the immense grief of pet loss? I lost my beautiful Pomeranian at the end of July and it’s been so difficult. He was only 9 which is young for a toy dog. While I have a wonderful husband and children I have always been a huge animal lover and I just can’t get past this grief. It was a deadly form of anemia something called imha and it completely blindsided us. A lot of people who aren’t animal lovers they don’t understand that it’s not just a dog, It’s your family member. I hope it’s ok I mentioned that idea. I just love watching all your videos they are so helpful. God bless you and keep up the wonderful content you are doing.
I'm so sorry and understand I had to put down my 21-year-old cat about two months ago. I have my days as you will also but I can say the grief has started to lift. It sounds like your pup was sudden whereas my fur baby was ill for about a year so I was grieving during that time. If it helps it does get better however they will always have a place in our heart.❤
So for the loss of your precious dog! When I lost my selfie doggy, my sister-in-law said in the condolences card! I should go get another dog! I have to tell you I really felt insulted but I know she didn’t mean anything bad about it so I didn’t say anything to her. About 10 months later, I did get another dog and she was right. I do have room in my heart for more than one dog! In fact, in my heart, there are three dogs that I still love very much. During a 48 year period. Please think about getting another dog, not only for yourself because, it will heal your heart, but there is another dog out there that needs love. Another rescue dog, that needs your are and love! Good luck to you!
Maddie is good people ❤ I really enjoyed this one! I would love to see Maddie come back on your YT channel and have you give her a makeover like you did for your other friend in Houston!
God bless you both , this was very encouraging and inspiring thank you both for sharing your hearts. 💞 I’m in agreement with Maddy’s grandma ,God is everywhere and I talk with him. God is with me everywhere and anywhere . We carry God in us everywhere we are . Shine your light 💡🇨🇦🫂💖✝️💜
99% of your podcasts are great but this is one is one of the best. Thank you and bring her again, please. Only to listen her calmly voice is already a pleasure.❤
Far too many ads now! I’ve always watched every video but I’ll be picking and choosing which ones from now on. This is not valuing your subscribers time

My mother's philosophy was"Just because you want it doesn't mean that you should have it". I think of this when I'm tempted.
I would love to see a podcast dealing with family estrangement. There is nothing more painful as it is like a death .
@@BelindaM44 but she’s asking for a podcast by Dominique. Your response seems a bit lacking in empathy

Yes, and a phenomenal marketing campaign doesn’t change the damaging ingredients.
I tried them only once and it made me sick. Didn’t like them.
Great guest. Intelligent & uplifting personality. 🌸

She doesn’t need a makeover. Mandy is just fine as she is ❤
How about a an episode about women who have no children and want to live fulfilling life after 50:)
I loved this, you were both so warm and loving...I would have loved to have shared a glass of wine with you both😊
