Wise Owl Furniture Salve And Its Many Uses

This is just a fun video Maddy and I made, where we walk through many, albeit not not all, uses of Wise Owl Furniture Salve. We had a blast, were a bit goofy at times (mostly me) but I'm hoping this is informative for those who thought Wise Owl Furniture Salve was only for wood. I'm here to tell ya, it's for so much more!!! We may even need to do a part II of this video to add more in. This video is exactly what I needed! I uncovered Burled wood on a table for my sister and there's no way I'm repainting it. Salve will make the details pop!
Question: is sealing required or does the salve provide enough waterproofing?

It provides enough water proofing 👍 I used it on a butcher block coffee table and was great! Just look to reapply on areas that get heaven use, so around a year or so.

Lynn Moser I cant tell you it will forever as I haven’t had a piece long enough to know, sorry... but the smelly pieces I’ve used it on, it has worked to mask that scent and seemingly keep it away. Forever tho, can’t be sure about that...

Can I use this salve on furniture that is over 200 years old? I don't want to ruin the wood, it is black walnut, but want to bring it back to life.

I have some WOFS coming in the mail today. I plan on using it inside the drawers of an antique dresser to cover up the old, funky smell. My concern is that the salve will transfer onto the linens that I plan on keeping in the dresser. Should I be concerned? Thank you 😀

Not at all! I do all the drawers in my home and drawers for pieces I post sometimes too. Just be sure to brush on, Buff and wipe off excess. A day later Buff again and ensure it’s dry. Easy, peasy!
