    We need to be reminded of these facts from time to time.
    Science alone does not create morality. Science can certainly be abused.
    But if we have sound scientific knowledge, it will provide us with the razor blades that Einstein speaks of.
    So we need a strong moral base to use these tools properly. That is the key...
    We cannot just act like a three-year-old... we need to be responsible adults.

  • @AndyNocturne

    Damn. We use the term "mob mentality" as a negative term nowadays, but back then, it seemed like the new fad. Unless I'm perceiving this all wrong, it seems to me like he genuinely believed that the population would ultimately make the right decisions for the greater good. But in today's America, that couldn't be farther from the truth. We let him down.

    It comes down to the advances in psychology to increase the welbeing of mankind. A balance growth of man not just rational, techniclogical and practical but also irational which includes moral factors. You get rich at the expense of your neighbor then you feel a pain that just doesn't make rational sense.

  • @antoniovittorio4686
    @antoniovittorio4686 หลายเดือนก่อน

    True, all social development is based on the MORAL of the people that make society, and especially on the STRENGTH of the moral principles that dictate the deeds of each citizen. The STRENGTH refers to the degree of JUSTICE of these moral principles and the degree of BELIEF the citizen, and especially the people in charge of governing , have in those moral principles. If those in charge of governing fell to demonstrate, through their decisions and actions, their alignment on these action directing principles_which moral principles stand for_, then the ordinary citizen is unlikely to make these principle one’s own principles for directing one’s daily actions. That’s to say, what we call “Democracy” is not at all a guaranty for establishing Moral Strength. The big problem of Democracy is Corruption, or more precisely the corruptibility of those who are in charge of governing by those who are weak in matter of Moral, but who have the power to influence the mentality of the multitude, which multitude constitutes the majority of the voters.

    A very few man-made things are not fear provoking. Hair comb, nail cutter, umbrella, pen, paper, hand fan, spectacles, clothes just to name a few!!🤔🤔

    Peace = equal access 2 aLL materialism & other conveniences. Moving people is a temporary solution and will make the problems even bigger on the longer term. V = V-ict-Or-Y. r = not even a revolution. We need a strict ict program. Y = OPPOSITE OF .V.ICTOR.Y.
    The Time = now.
    Peace = Last.

    I always thought Einstein invented the bomb but turns out he didn’t even know that chain reaction was even possible. Shame that such weapons are possible. Some day they will be used. Again.

    Berlin Germany was wildly held to be the technology hub of the entire world after the world's fair specially. however when Hitler took power we were smuggling ashkenazi scientists into the US
    which led to the Allied forces getting the atomic bomb.

    I immediately thought of the weak and hesitant response of NATO in helping Ukraine today when Einstein was talking about the importance of allied democratic nations to show solidarity and willingness to sacrifice when opposed to what should be a shared enemy. We're still having that problem, perhaps even worse today.

      Much of the world is still affected to this very day by the acts of WW2, and we are shaped by that war now 80 years later as much as the people were then when it was happening. Moral *strength* comes from the willingness to do the hard thing that you know is right but will be a pain in the ass to do. That's why there isn't any solidarity in the world of democracies today. Nobody, not even 'murica is willing to put their foot forward and take a hit on the chin for the betterment of the human race. Most all democracies are becoming plutocracies, and the only hit they're willing to take is for the sake of money.

    this must have been before they corrupted his works.. money is a helluva drug,.. im sure his last years were more slave than anything, but he seemed to have a good head on his shoulders.. science should be used to aid not to rule basically.. what a concept,.. unlike today... nuff said..

      @@henrymeyer7588 you think einy had nothing to do with it? its possible, he could have just been MK ultra to do the things they needed him to do.. i cant confirm that and it would make sense.. but given that he never spoke of tesla (to my knowledge) and yet tesla was a pure genius inventing things beyond his realm of capability, that seems odd to me a little. but again, if you are being controlled, you arent allowed to say a lot for fear of being offed.. who knows.. all speculation, but i do know mostly all things we are taught today in school and media is false, so it just kind of goes hand in hand.. hope youre right, he seemed like a straight up dude from this interview at least

    Try to imagine Einstein's reaction today (12/24)
    to the return to power of America's Hitler (Einstein fled Germany's Hitler).
