I really love Sadie. She was a hurt person when Lars was rude to her in the beginning. But then she got more confident with her singing.
She also trapped him on an island while he had anxiety attacks. They were both bad for each other.

So Mr. Smiley is like the Larry from Gumball of Beach City. Well it’s good to know about these side characters thanks Kris. I didn’t know that Petey and Renaldo are references to McDonalds.
I never noticed this before, but most of the kids in beach city are from a single parent household! You don't usually see that in cartoons
That’s cool. It fits in with the theme of parents and families in this series, especially different types of families. It may also balance Steven a little, who both has no mom and in a way has more moms than most.

Who doesn’t, It’s one of the best (if not the best) cartoons of the 2010s
Ngl, I relate to Lars to an extent (despite me hating him during the first half of the series) aside from being a fellow Filipino, he's very insecure and emotional and lashes out due to it and just doesn't know how to be a person sometimes; he's mean and regrets it but is too prideful too to say sorry. Also, he's a huge over thinking dork, so I'm really glad he had this Lars of the Stars moment and finally assess his feelings and find something to call his own, rather than worrying about others' perception of him. he's grown up basically and finally standing on his own 2 feet.

As someone who related to Peedee's struggles a lot in Frybo, I also wish we had seen a lot more of him. He could've been a good friend around Steven's age besides Connie

Weird that Jenny was like the only townie to not have a featured episode. I would've had a metal music fest sort of thing for her. Anyway, I like the townies as characters, it's more the episodes themselves that tend to be hit and miss. Mostly because hell they're next to episodes about cool gem stuff, it's always going to come off as more underwhelming when that's your competition.
She has some really great stuff in the comics!
If I’m being honest, Lars and Sadie are my favorite human characters. And, if I remember correctly, Sadie was one of the first characters Rebecca ever made for the show. And tbf, I’m actually sad Sadie Killer and The Suspects broke up in the series 😔
Edit: Fun fact! Y’all probably have noticed this, but Sadie actually kept the scar she got from the episode where her, Lars, and Steven were stuck on the island together as a permanent part of her character design!

I wonder what the relationship is between Sour Cream and Greg. Greg could be seen as an "adopted" father figure for him. I never saw townie episodes as filler. I loved them.

Now that Tuca and Bertie is coming back next year, I would love to hear your predictions/theories on what's going to happen in season 2. I hope is that they will continue Tuca's storyline from the finale of her wanting to reconnect with her siblings. Given that she's newly sober, it would interesting to see Tuca show her family how much she's changed and make amends for how she acted in the past.

Yes please!!!! She is Steven's rock!! I wonder what she felt like after her first experience with a diamond tantrum in Growing Pains. She helped and supported Steven through all of his growth and change. I bet it was her or her mother to suggest therapy to Steven he or Greg wouldn't think that way.

The citizens of Beach City are awesome, except for characters like Ronaldo i never really liked him...same goes for Lars i mean i know he's changed and what not but i think we can all agree that he was a total immature douche when he was first introduced in the series.

If you do a video about the different house/building in Beach City, could you add too the one we see in the Save the light game, those are real cannon and the one we see in the comics, like the library.
If I were a Steven Universe character, I'd be the owner of a dinosaur themed miniature golf course. I know Beach City is based on Rehoboth, but I've always loved Ocean City for its Old Pro Golf chain, especially the dinosaur one.
As cool I think this video is, I wish that this went more in depth with the characters as it felt really rushed considering how many beach city residents there are

Everyone always says the townie episodes are filler or tash, but I love them. It gives the world more depth and personality. One of the main themes of Steven Universe is the inherent beauty of Earth and the people that live there. It would be shallow and mean less if they never actually showed the people of Earth and how they live.

An interesting thing I learned about Kevin is that his ex, Sabina, might've discouraged him from being nice. If I recall, In Kevin Party, he told Steven that being all emotional would freak Connie out and "it'll be Sabina all over again". I wonder if that's why he's so insensitive as we see now?

One of my favourite characters is PeeDee, and I have to agree with you, he should have been used more.
Two things to think of
1st : Are fusions like Opal always fusions or can they be non fusion gems for example they poped out of the earth like every other gem we see
2nd : picture Pearl fighting a clam for its pearl

I wonder if humanity eventually becomes an advanced spacefaring civilization. it's certainly possible, there's plenty of old gem tech and modern gem-tech still left over from the earth rebellion over 1000 years ago, knowing this i believe humanity might reverse engineer some gem tech or combine it with human tech and eventually become a spacefaring species.
I'm 99.99 percent sure that Onion is secretly the son of Satan and is the prophet of the Earth's impending doom. Onion could have an entire episode dedicated to just him with how creepy he is.
