1.Preparation
Park the truck on a level surface, secure with wheel chocks, and disconnect the battery.
2.Access Clutch
Support and remove the transmission to expose the clutch assembly.
3.Inspect Pressure Plate
Remove the pressure plate and clutch disc. Inspect the fingers for wear or damage.
4.Adjust Fingers
Measure and adjust the height of each finger using the adjustment screws. Ensure all fingers are at equal heights.
5.Reassemble Clutch
Reinstall the clutch disc and pressure plate. Torque bolts to specifications.
6.Reinstall Transmission
Slide the transmission back, bolt it securely, and reconnect any linkages and electrical connectors.
7.Final Checks
Reconnect the battery. Start the engine and test the clutch operation with a short test drive.
