I just started watching your videos and I must say you are a damn good worker. I have watched some of our road workers patch a small street pot hole and it took 2 trucks and 5 guys to do that. One sat in the truck, one swept the hole out, one then sprayed something in the hole, then the other one filled the hole with a tar mixture, then they stood there for about 20 minutes, finally one took the shovel and patted down the tar! But this took them a total of 3 hours to get done. You did all this by yourself, impressive!

Yes there are people sitting in jail doing nothing. The government hollers that they don’t have the money to do stuff like picking up garbage and trimming trees. I live in NJ and we have many roads that span along rivers and waterways. As a kid I remember riding along the Delaware River in my dad’s truck and being able to see the river. But the trees and brush are so that you cannot see it until winter where as before you could see it year round.

@aljanat5 in the UK we do something like this, it's called a community sentence. If an offender goes to court, but isn't sent to prison, or it's a suspended sentence, they can be ordered to do community payback. They may be ordered to do X amount of hours of community work, such as cleaning graffiti off of walls, cutting grass verges, picking up litter, cutting down bushes and things like that. I'm sure the court service in his local area, if they were asked about this, they may, instead of sending people to prison for very small offences or first time offences, use this method of community work as a punishment. That's what you're mistaking for slave labour, it's not work, it's a punishment. And I'm sure those inmates who do work and get paid, are doing so because maybe, (it's a punishment they know they have to do, or it's part of their deal, or it's helping them to reduce their sentences or any other reason, maybe because it keeps the longer term inmates sane and stops them from just sitting around in prison doing nothing, they may as well be doing SOMETHING). I see no problem with any prisoner doing menial labor in the community, they pay the community back for the shit they do, they get their sentences reduced if they do it. They are NOT doing slave labour. If you don't want to go to prison and have to do these things, then the answer is simple, don't do the bloody crime!!

Love your work and your videos, just want to make sure you are as safe as possible whilst doing this.
