ok so here's the thing, i figured that you need all the clues to touch the books, turn the statues etc. now these gold heads show up in the hall but even if i press them, nothing happens! why?!? the big statue should pop out of the floor but nothing happens, and i did everything, like you did.. this is so odd.. :/
I've done everything the way it should be, and I've even pushed in all the books in the right order, read all the clues and wearing the legend costume, and still the door does NOT open!? Pleasee help me!?
im glad i have watched these i collected every thing but 1 silver it was driving me a little potty but i know now where it is and its silly should of looked harder cheers :)
Hey so the books bit did not work but then I found out that actualy you need to get Laura to read all the wall stone parts to continue, to unlock the bookshelf x
I think you can only push the books in after you have collected most of the reward. Maybe do it in the same order as this person has, might work, did for me.
did you get the clue in the pool room? you can't push the books if you didn't read the clue. watch "Tomb Raider Legend Walkthrough Croft Manor Part 3" and you'll see what i mean :) if you did manage to get the clue, i really don't know what's wrong then, sry :/
aa got the gold! and i now what was the problem, i was too slow, cuz aparantelly(lol i don't know how to spell) the two gold heads are on a timer. Finally i was just in time! :D
if anybody is interested the book thing has to be done in colour order CERULEAN=blue TOPAZ=yellow VIRIDIAN=green CRIMSON=red well thats how it worked for me
omg many ppl has a problem with the books its so easy just maybe u have to read the clues because if u dont then the game would now that ur cheatign so just read all the clues and u will get the book thing lol

Push E when you stand for the books.
Then they are ousable and push you.
