I'm not sure which Dreamcatcher guide video to watch. Help!
A guide to Dreamcatcher 2021. From dreamwolfie
I think 'The Ultimate 2021/2022 Dreamcatcher Guide. Welcome to the Dreamworld' by Dreamworld is the best if you want to get to know the members even if it's not up to date. If you prefer a more recent one I'd choose 'An Extensive Guide to Dreamcatcher 2023' by Dreamer
(In my opinion) Dreamcatcher's VERY BEST fan channel on TH-cam is insomnicsy. They have some GREAT editing skills! ALL of their videos are positive, fun and are dedicated to Dreamcatcher and the members. It's a labor of love, done with only the highest respect and love for these ladies and this group. The positivity is really awesome.
Among their plethora of videos, insomnicsy has four separate seasons (so far) of a series of videos called 'This Is _'. Just put in the name of the lady you want to know about or just watch through the playlists for each separate season. The first season was from 2020, the second season was from 2021, etc and they get released late in the year.
There are seven girls in the group so there are at least seven videos per season, each video is only seven minutes long. The first season had eight videos, the last of which being for all of the members put together as a group.
Because the videos are so short, you can react to them separately if you want or you can react to some of them together if you want.
I do recommend reacting to the videos in order of age of the girls, so JiU would be first. That's more to keep track of which girl you have reacted to, just to be sure that nobody gets skipped over, than any other reason. You could even decided to watch them in reverse order if you really wanted to do that.
There are VERY FEW song spoilers in those videos so you get to know more about the girls' personalities and it helps with facial recognition and putting their names to their faces no matter how they changed their hair and looks.
I personally do not think there is a better guide for the girls than all the seasons of the 'This Is _' series. :)
IMHO To date th-cam.com/video/SY9ep3x0Pu8/w-d-xo.html is still the best guide. (Ultimate 2021/2022). There exist a more up to date version (Extensive 2023) but after watching both 10+ times my vote is still on the 2021/2022 as the newer one somehow loses a bit on the overall ambiance and the audio level is not that well aligned, while it does not contain that much new information.
Especially if you do the 'This Is _' series after the guide - at least the 2020 version ((7+1)x7 min) - as the guide is to introduce the group history and member roles / positions with some intro on the individual members, while the This is series sole purpose is to present the members as individuals. Although it sounds like a lot of time, the moment you press play time will just fly by pretty fast :D
I agree with the comments here at the 2021/2022 Ultimate Dreamcatcher Guide by Dreamworld is still the best guide around. The Extensive 2023 guide is a close second but doesn't really add any new information aside from including snippets from the Apocalypse Series Title tracks.
If you still want more information after that guide, since it's mostly an overview on everything, I also recommend Dodging Disbandment and other Extreme Sports by Mera as a follow up. This guide is very focused on their time as Minx and how they became Dreamcatcher as well as hardships they faced. It's older and only has information up to right before Scream came out but it's a fantastic guide and Mera's editing and narration are great.
Also, as others have recommended, the This Is _______ series from Insomnicsy is a must watch for member personalities. Insomnicsy also has tons of other compilations like the "Dreamcatcher being unfiltered idols" series which is, currently, 7 videos of increasingly unhinged antics by the girls. They've always been a very unfiltered group, but it's only gotten more so as they've matured.
Odd Eye is part 3 of the Dystopia trilogy, which is about cyber-bullying, hateful comments and people losing themselves in the (fake) online world. People can get lost in the world of the Internet and social media and their online personas can take over their life. Dreamcatcher want us to use our odd eye to see through the lies (on Facebook and others) and don't be fooled by the "lies masked in sweetness". I can only recommend to keep reacting to them, they are always interesting and entertaining! And the song is a banger!
For the dance videos, definitely do "Dreamcatcher(드림캐쳐) 'Odd Eye' Dance Video (Dystopia ver.)" It's styling is a celebration of the entire trilogy.

Man, I just love Dreamcatcher like my life depends on it. I have a unhealthy/healthy obsession because I can't stop thinking about them, but they give me motivation to just be better everyday.

without getting too crazy in the analysis, odd eye is basically about how the internet/social media isn't real so you shouldn't get too caught up in it. since people tend to follow groups with similar interests, it might seem like an idea world but dreamcatcher warns getting too caught up can be dangerous because one tends to worry about what others think of yourself than you do of yourself. the moral of the trilogy is that utopia can only be found within oneself. it's important in this day and age when anyone can fall too deeply in the dystopian online world and lose oneself.
you can try their most recent completed trilogy, the apocalyse trilogy(maison, vision, bon voyage). and of course if you got a cool cover or remix of dreamcatcher material, do show us ;)

Thanks for checking out Odd Eye! You've already got some good info on the meaning behind the song so I'll just recommend the It's Live performance if you want to see a live version of them with a band as well as the song "Wind Blows" from this EP. There is an It's Live version of it as well as a Play Color performance on Genie music that's fantastic.
