Been bow hunting for over 38 years first few I never carried a HG
Then my friend had a serious accident while getting out of his treestand after sunset
He essentially had his treestand shoot out from under his feet as he was getting out of it and onto his screw in treesteps resulting in him impaling both of his thighs on steps as well as causing several compound fractures of several fingers on one had when he grasped a step as he fell he got most of the way down but lost his grip and fell the last 5 or 6 feet onto the ground
While the impact did stun him in to semi- unconsciousness he quickly regained conciquenses and started walking back to his truck bleeding rather significantly from both wounds in his thighs as well as from his hand
It was a rather long walk and soon in to his walk he heard coyotes houling from the area his treestand was in and shorty thereafter herd the howl coyotes make when they pick up the blood trail of a wounded animal except HE was the wounded animal leaving the blood trail
He said he began traveling as quickly as he could to his truck as he heard the howls drawing ever closer once he got back to his truck and in it he started up his truck and in his headlights were 5 or 6 coyotes not 25 yards away just staring at his truck and desbite him sounding his horn and moving towards them while sounding his car horn as he drove out those coyotes didn't budge one inch obviously they had no fear of him or his truck
In his opinion those coyotes had made up thier minds he was to be thier dinner and that was it
He drove to the hospital because this was before cellphones existed thankfully the wounds to his thighs only require stiches but his hand required surgery and pins to fix the fractures in his broken fingers
That was back in tge early 1990's and from that point forward I
#1 never hunted from a treestand without a FBH and
#2 never again entered the woods for any reason without a hi-cap HG with at least 2 spare mags

Wow. Scary, he's damn lucky. Few year's back I was getting ready to climb down from tree and had 2 wolves come through, climbed right back up and called my uncle to come get me. From. That point on I started carrying. Even take the rifle once in awhile, especially if I had them or bears on cam. Now we got cougars around, unfortunately not the good ones 😅. But WI dnr will tell you they don't have them here... phucken joke

Always carry an adequate sidearm when you bow hunt or even just going into the woods. I forgot this rule once and nearly got mauled by a wild boar. Thank God there was a knocked over tree I was able to run up with my Border Terrier in my arms. That hog wanted us both and finally ran off smashing every tree he could in digust. My dog just looked at me and licked my face after being stiff as a board while the boar grunted at us. I never go anywhere in the woods without a gun now.😅

He was hunting turkey not deer. The menu referring to was a bow hunter. He was a firefighter from kentucky and his name was bubba. About 18 people have been killed in this park. But you won't find any articles or videos about it from new sources because the government has covered it up

    • @kaijuar2003
      @kaijuar2003 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

If the government has covered ot up, how the hell do you know what happened or what a Dogman is?
You've fallen for a stupid conspiracy, people still hunt in LBL and no hunters have reported seeing any Dogman. It's just fabrication.
And if that many people did go missing, why don't they close it up? Makes no sense. The government can't keep animal attacks a secret because people would still expose it, so what makes you think the government can keep a 6-7 foot tall cryptid a secret?
Brainrot conspiracy is all I smell.

The two recent ones I've read about were a bowhunter and a rifle hunter, respectfully. It was said the guy's rifle barrel was discovered bent. One of the two was found ~1 mi. from his tent. There were signs he had been dragged away and was mauled. I think that police saw two dogmen peeking out from behind a tree in the distance. Superiors showed up and delegated traffic control at the entrance on the access road. It was said that a helicopter responded. Few know the facts but these two incidents did occur.
