While the impact did stun him in to semi- unconsciousness he quickly regained conciquenses and started walking back to his truck bleeding rather significantly from both wounds in his thighs as well as from his hand
It was a rather long walk and soon in to his walk he heard coyotes houling from the area his treestand was in and shorty thereafter herd the howl coyotes make when they pick up the blood trail of a wounded animal except HE was the wounded animal leaving the blood trail
He said he began traveling as quickly as he could to his truck as he heard the howls drawing ever closer once he got back to his truck and in it he started up his truck and in his headlights were 5 or 6 coyotes not 25 yards away just staring at his truck and desbite him sounding his horn and moving towards them while sounding his car horn as he drove out those coyotes didn't budge one inch obviously they had no fear of him or his truck
