    I would like to welcome JazzHands Frenzy to Cine-Lights. he has been a great help in the past. He is also being a great help with a HUGE Vu meter update we have coming up.
    So please if he replies to any of the messages beneath the videos, give him a warm welcome.
    PLEASE No more requests on the MAX7129 matrix. As much as they are great little displays, there is only so much you can do with them.

      I Have the working version infront of me. it does look amazing. Jazzhands Frenzy has added some features which has answered a few requests, and put ideas into code. i can not say much more than that otherwise it will spoil the surprise. But i will be a little more strict on this build. The code will shared in bin / hex format for the time being. A lot of hard work has gone into it from the both of us - im sure a certain individual would love to make this his own.., well its not going to happen.

      @@Rene1Henri Im not here doing this doing this to make money., i work for a living. this is a hobby., all for fun. i share for free and that will never change. as mentioned before i have had numerous requests to start up a patreon page, or take paypal donations.., its not me. i will not do it. what i hate is when someone comes along and steals a design and makes it there own to make profit. its wrong. wannaduino is a good example of this. my next video is of a 3d printed clock. the design of the print files, the code is amazing,, and he shares it for free... give credit where it is due is my moto...

    This reminded me that last time i played with those 8x8 led matrix thingies, i could not find any font using whole 8 pixels of height..

    • @cine-lights
      @cine-lights  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      my first build is the first time i had used them, and couldnt understand why the font wasnt using the full 8 pixels too. I like things nice and even, so it did bug me. i did in the end hide the matrix behind some tinted plastic so you could only see them when they were on.

    Отличный проект. Обожаю Ваш канал, хотя по английски плохо понимаю. Перевожу, повторяю. Нравится все. Еще вопрос Вы не делали часы в виде 7 сегментных индикаторов только из WS2812B по 4 пикселя на 1 из сегментов? Чтобы температуру и дату выводили, и при зменении температуры от + к минусу менялся цвет, ну и еще какие нибудь переходы, плюшки. Спасибо.

      I did make a clock as you described th-cam.com/video/cum6YLNeH-4/w-d-xo.html , but not sure if it changed colour due to temps. it never got it that cold in my house to find out :). it does sound like a good idea. but if it got below 10`c in my house i would be diving to put the heating on.

    Do you use just the matrix modules without the max board? If so do they link up the same as neopixel strips? In and out? Maybe a diagram on how to connect the matrix modules?

    • @cine-lights
      @cine-lights  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey Luigi. These boards come complete. 4 matrix is one complete piece. so no connecting need. all connections from the arduino go into the input side of the max7219

    • @luigidedom3570
      @luigidedom3570 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Ok cool was just wondering why you remove the matrix modules from the boards and say to make sure all writing is on the same side, so it remains a complete board and just wire up on d in side?

    • @cine-lights
      @cine-lights  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@luigidedom3570 I have had a few with one of them round the wrong way. also if your like me I had to take them appart to see whats behind the front panels. Most of us would take note which way round they came off and put them back the same way... due to the way the pins are laid out its easy to think they can fit both ways round.
