Will any of the engineer heros be tied into the acquisition of super weapons like the malevolence? Like having to have a specific engineer present on a planet in order to build a specific super unit
Personal opinion though for myself. I would like to collect and keep all hero's. Not happy about there being a build limit. I'm ok with time periods/eras/missions for unlocking heros. Think of it like Pokemon. Gotta catch them all.... Not catch and release.
@mr.president7190 submods seem to not be reliable. They become out of date usually. Regardless thanks for all your work. I haven't got around to doing a let's play yet. But I made my channel originally for the AOTR 2.11 update
Would we ever see rivals or a arch nemesis mechanic. Or a comrade buff mechanic. Obi and Cody receive a extra 5% defense Anakin and rex receive 5% attack Regardless love everything so grateful
While i see why there will be a limit on heroes in this mod with each side getting probably 20 or more commaders and a bunch of other heroes. I don't think its needed in AotR. Rebels get all the good minor heroes as starting units and mission rewards and black sun has a lot of mercs but not that manny minor heroes, specialy that you probably wont use all 4 techs in one campaign. So it would only efect the imps, and not by much. Unless you wanna add like 10 more heroes for each faction, i sure wouldnt mind that ;)
@agentiq007 Oh I was talking about AOTCW mechanics in general. like the diplomacy and traits. Even if they don't get heroes, they can have the traits system
@@AwesomeJedi182 im pretty sure they want to add diplomacy to AotR as well, but when will it happen? Who knows. I realy hope they rework the traits tho, this is definitly more interesting then what we have now, i want that +45% demage, shields and HP be damned And i don't need 4 frigate captains as rebels, i need a cruiser hero to buff my dreads and assoult frigates and curently there is none :(

Im sure there is gonna be a submod to remove the limit soon after it releases.
You can always submod the changes you want to see in game, I bet you aren't the only person thinking that

some commanders have a specific buff for their legion
Is there a time frame of release? Wasn't sure of when to expect this to come out.
I read at one point they said a very hard maybe before Christmas, more likely for the new year/mid Jan

Yes, once we receive feedback from the public on how these mechanics play, we will adjust them and back port them to AotR
