Placing the black rope in the same tier as Domain Amplification feels off since you can use your technique while wielding the rope. If you have a lethal technique you could disrupt Gojo's infinity and proceed to use your technique on him.
that's smart, although i'd honestly just use the inverted spear of heaven while using another technique against gojo i'd rather have him stabbed than being whipped if it that makes sense.
Issue is Takaba has a no blood rule, which we see in the fight with Kenny, people getting really hurt isn't funny to him so comedian wouldn't work in that way, now give comedian to someone with dark humour and it's a different story.

He just doesn't kill humans. He has no problem beating people up if necessary.
While it is a domain, Deadly Sentencing is also Higurumas technique, and Gojo HAS killed people outside of the court of law. This would allow the user to confiscate his curse technique. Jacobs ladder functions like the black rope and ISOH, so that would work too. Takabas technique in the way we saw it displayed in his fight with Kenjaku would also work since its practically reality warping. Sky manipulation folds space so that could work too, safe to say a bunch of stuff introduced post Gojo’s sealing would actually put up quite a fight against him

hollow purple is not existence erasure that is very common misinformation it just is so strong it deletes anything without cursed energy. Because sukuna survived a directt hit with 200% hollow purple with only a lost hand
It is also hinted that an airborne poison could bypass the filter of infinity and reach gojo as it would just be counted as "air." This was mentioned in Hidden Inventory before Gojo learned reverse curse technique, but it was never confirmed that he found a way around it.
It's pretty clear that airborne poison has a whole different molecular structure than say oxygen or nitrogen. So gojo would have no difficulty differentiating poison from normal air

i feel like the comparison between the black rope and the inverted spear of heaven is kinda, unfair. For starters, just because the black rope isn't sharp doesn't mean it can't do lethal damage, you'd just need to hit hard enough and aim on vital areas, like the head or neck (which you'd also probably try to do with any other weapon), along with this the black rope has more range than the inverted spear of heaven, not including the chain of a thousand miles because thats an entirely different cursed tool. Of course, im not saying the inverted spear of heaven is worse than the black rope, the durability thing with the rope makes it TERRIBLE for prolonged fights, which is obviously a pretty big issue if you're fighting someone with infinity, a comically defensive CT.

Doesn’t the world cutting slash require a hand sign and chant to perform because if I remember correctly, Sukuna did a binding vow to avoid the requirements to catch gojo off guard which means the world slash isn’t necessarily the go to method on its own, it would be it however if it included the binding vow he did
Sukuna had to make that biding vow because he had no hand at the time Sukuna's biding made the technique weaker in order to be able to strike it with no hands sealing one time

I feel like you ranked domain amplification a bit too low. Spoilers for the latest chapter Seeing Sukuna now use it against Yuta has made it clear to me that it is a viable counter if you are better at hand to hand combat than the infinity user. When Sukuna was using Domain amplification against Gojo in the first few chapters of the fight he was pretty evenly matched against Gojo. Now Gojo still had a slight advantage but it was pretty even with them both landing hits against each other. It was only when he deactivated domain amplification to allow Mahoraga to adapt that Gojo gained a massive advantage in hand to hand combat like in the image you showed. Since Mahoragas adaptation does not work while domain amp is active. While it is true that you can't use your technique it is possible to quickly switch between domain amplification and your technique to deal damage to an infinity user like what Sukuna did against Gojo when he landed some slashes. Even Jogo was able to hold Gojo off for 10 minutes thanks to domain amplification and he is much weaker than Gojo. The main reason Hanami died so quickly was because he deactivated domain amplification. overall I don't consider domain amplification to be S tier or anything but it should be B tier. It allows those inferior to Gojo in hand to hand combat last longer than they otherwise would have, it lets those comparable to Gojo in hand to hand combat land a few solid hits and it allows those superior to Gojo in hand to hand combat to gain overwhelm him physically.
Tbh there really isn't anyone outright superior to gojo in hand to hand combat, sukuna never really dominated h2h with gojo it either gojo winning or evenly matched, also domain amp mean you have no range on your attacks while gojo can still fire off blues and Reds from distance. C-tier is correct imo.
DE isn't really that good of a counter because even Sukuna, the strongest sorcerer in history, couldn't outright beat Gojo in a vs of refinement. Keep in mind, for sukuna's sure-hit to go off on gojo, sukuna had to destroy IV completely first, otherwise their sure-hits neutralized each other. So anyone else doing a DE ain't countering infinity at all. Also keep in mind, Gojo's infinity is still active inside the DE and only the sure-hit gets passed it. Sukuna still had to use D-Amp to hit gojo himself inside the domains too.
Makima bypasses infinity with bang. The technique is activated when makima points her finger at a precise location and says “bang” This inflicts damage straight onto what she points her finger at, think of it like a hole expanding from nothing. She has no drawbacks of using bang and can use it whenever she wants so it is probably the best counter
you should do a similar video but disscussing the potential counters to infinity like thin ice breaker, jacobs lader, cused speech, falling blossom emotion, anti-gravity and gravity, yuki ct, ranta ct, druhv shikigami domain, and maybe kusakabe simple domain.
Have to say, while Domain expansion is a sure way to counter infinity(thought there is the risk of Infinite Void), it vastly depends on what kind of technique the character has. The Spear blade has limited range, and even combining it with the Chain its use is only that good when used by someone physically gifted, just as the triple nunchaku was decent in Geto, Maki and Todo hands but absolute lethal with a stronger Toji. I would put the Spear alone in the B Tier. Mahoraga by the way is the only S Tier. Sukuna managed to make him an ally, but even as a menace for the caster it can adapt and become a full time counter. Anime created a more than perfect fight with Sukuna vs Mahoraga, but in manga it was short on purpose to show how fast the shikigami can adapt and how serious was the urge of getting rid of it for sure.
I'd put Mahoraga in A or B. Although it's important to note that Sukuna was able to achieve World Slash through Mahoraga's second adaptation model, Mahoraga alone would not stand much of a chance against Gojo due to its limitations. Adaptation takes a long time and without the strongest sorcerer in history there to help him, he'd die to Gojo before he could fully adapt.. Hell, it's very possible he wouldn't even get to the first adaptation model. If anything, he probably just shouldn't be on the tier list since he's like a puzzle piece to World Slash.
I would have put Mahoraga as A tier, since you need to be able to survive long enough for Mahoraga to adapt to infinity and if you do win, you still need to beat Mahoraga
*spoilers* One I don’t think people talk about is nobara’s technique; it would rely on her getting a piece of go/jo’s body, but it would still surpass his infinity. So would Angel’s technique but it wouldn’t do any damage (I don’t think)
Since infinity works by infinitely slowing down attacks used on the wielder, do you think you could bypass it by not actually trying to exert your own attack but instead putting out a sharp object or something in front of you, staying static, and then having the wielder pulled towards you somehow? Wether it be by falling onto you or some sort of conveyor type thing? Because then if you're not technically attacking there's no attack to be slowed by the infinity, it can't slow you down if you're not moving. So if you did that you'd basically just be a spike for the infinity wielder to get shoved into, so you could easily bypass infinity without any broken abilities or special weapons. All you need is some random knife and a way to get the wielder to be pushed into you and you can damage them.
Physics wise, there’s no such thing as absolute motion or absolute perspective which basically means in this case it doesn’t matter if you’re approaching Gojo or he’s approaching you. Hanami’s death proved as much. Then again, applying physics to shonen magic is inherently absurd.
I personally would have put domain amplification a bit higher simply because its likely "easier" to learn than a full domain expansion, meaning that with this technique alone you have a lot more people being capable off surpassing infinity
the 24-frame technique and nobara's resonance might work, if the Frame works as teleportation they could bypass the compressed space, and the voodoo-style curse doesnt seem to use a beam or projectile. As long as a technique doesnt have to go through space in order to hit it should be able to affect gojo
Black flashes counter infonity, due to them distorting, and bending space. So, if you black flashed gojo, and got lucky enough, you could bypass infinity temporarily
If that was the case I'm sure we would've seen that in the fight against sukuna, it doesn't matter how much you bend and distort the space, since there's infinite amount of it between you and Gojo thanks to infinity

Counters to infinity 1. Any power that directly spawns on the target and does not travel like amaterasu. 2. Any magic nullification power 3. Space and reality manipulating powers 4. Concept negation powers like Domain expansion's sure hit 5. Gravity and air manipulation powers. 6. Adaptation to any phenomenon powers These are powers that can bypass infinity .
Gojo said it ereases anything in it's path just because some characters had plot armor against it doesn't mean it isn't,if it was a normal blast then blue would technically have better AP which is straight up false.

You forgot Jacob's Ladder and Deadly Sentencing. Uro's Thin-Ice Break could also possibly bypass Infinity due to its nature. Dhruv's technique can also bypass Infinity.
Here's a thought, Infinity only stops attacks that move so what attacks that don't move? Like what about if Gojo fought someone who had an attack similar to his domain expansion's information overload? Or what if I draw from an outside source and ask what if Gojo fought Medusa from Greek mythology? What I'm getting at here is I think adverse instantaneous effects are the way to beat him. I mean, isn't that what the prison realm was? Not a direct attack but an adverse effect?
WCS should NOT be S, only reason it hit was because of heavy circumstances and in a vacuum inverted spear of heaven should technically have a higher success rate with the right users, while if Gojo was actually paying attention (he can see the flow of cursed energy so he knew it was coming he just apparently didn’t care) it doesn’t matter the user, it’s not hitting because of a long cast time
Domain expansion goes straight to F tier bro, don’t forget we are talking about Satoru Gojo, we straight out saw that he can sit in anyone’s domain doing nothing and survive it’s basically useless to expand a domain against Gojo if you’re not Sukuna and even then
Mahoraga adapted to Gojo's infinity, and Sukuna used it as a model, directing his dismantle to the world instead of Gojo himself, cutting through Gojo's infinity with a world-cutting slash, but he had to use a binding vow to use one without chanting "scale of the dragon, recoil, twin meteors", as he does later on.

You forgot to add Angel's technique which can nullify every and all cursed techniques including the limitless. Jacob's ladder would pierce through infinity and laser gojo if he got hit by it. Angel likely weilded the full inverted spear of heaven before she turned into a cursed object.

If honestly put WCS lower, at maybe A or B tier, while it is a one shot and would finish the fight instantly, it also requires an incantation and hand gestures, which would allow him to easily dodge it. Only reason he didn’t before (correct me if I’m wrong) is because for 2 reasons, A: he was too busy gloating, and B: sukuna did a binding vow, removing the incantation requirement once in exchange for always requiring a full incantation and hand gestures. TLDR it could work once but likely never work again
Actually when he hit gojo he DID have to use the incantations but I’m not sure about the hand sign. He was probably just far enough away to not hear it

@@Crown865 what was that about sure hit effects not traveling? i honestly cant belive someone would make a video saying that so confidently, maki was refering to dagons specific domain, because part of his technique was that you wouldnt see it until they bit you, as we see on gojo vs jogo, jogo tries to hit gojo with his technique, to which gojo explains that inside domains the technique is guaranteed to hit, but that you can either hit it back with cursed energy, (therefore the hit isnt instantaneous) or you can use simple domain or your own domain amplification, this is one of many big misunderstandings he has about jjk

Mahoraga's first adaptation is better. It made him and his CE have a property of bypassing Infinity. Also, Domain Expansion should be A to B Tier only because Gojos is literally the best (even against Barrierless).
Why do we keep saying domains neutralize techniques we are pretty much at the end of the fucking story and we see people spam techniques inside of other people's domain. You forgot kashimo’s ct. Amber beast whatever this allows him to control any and all electrical phenomena including em waves which travel on a sub atomic level. Infinity can only slow things down on the atomic level.

Doesn’t the world cutting slash require a hand sign and chant to perform because if I remember correctly, Sukuna did a binding vow to avoid the requirements to catch gojo off guard which means the world slash isn’t necessarily the go to method on its own, it would be it however if it included the binding vow he did
Sukuna had to make that biding vow because he had no hand at the time
Sukuna's biding made the technique weaker in order to be able to strike it with no hands sealing one time

The technique is pretty powerful, since it ignores defense, and with his heian era body, having to do hand signs and chanting is no big deal, and even though he has to point it, kashimo still had trouble dodging it

Seeing Sukuna now use it against Yuta has made it clear to me that it is a viable counter if you are better at hand to hand combat than the infinity user. When Sukuna was using Domain amplification against Gojo in the first few chapters of the fight he was pretty evenly matched against Gojo. Now Gojo still had a slight advantage but it was pretty even with them both landing hits against each other. It was only when he deactivated domain amplification to allow Mahoraga to adapt that Gojo gained a massive advantage in hand to hand combat like in the image you showed. Since Mahoragas adaptation does not work while domain amp is active. While it is true that you can't use your technique it is possible to quickly switch between domain amplification and your technique to deal damage to an infinity user like what Sukuna did against Gojo when he landed some slashes. Even Jogo was able to hold Gojo off for 10 minutes thanks to domain amplification and he is much weaker than Gojo. The main reason Hanami died so quickly was because he deactivated domain amplification. overall I don't consider domain amplification to be S tier or anything but it should be B tier. It allows those inferior to Gojo in hand to hand combat last longer than they otherwise would have, it lets those comparable to Gojo in hand to hand combat land a few solid hits and it allows those superior to Gojo in hand to hand combat to gain overwhelm him physically.
Tbh there really isn't anyone outright superior to gojo in hand to hand combat, sukuna never really dominated h2h with gojo it either gojo winning or evenly matched, also domain amp mean you have no range on your attacks while gojo can still fire off blues and Reds from distance. C-tier is correct imo.

"Penultimate" does not mean "more ultimate", it means "second to last"
DE isn't really that good of a counter because even Sukuna, the strongest sorcerer in history, couldn't outright beat Gojo in a vs of refinement. Keep in mind, for sukuna's sure-hit to go off on gojo, sukuna had to destroy IV completely first, otherwise their sure-hits neutralized each other. So anyone else doing a DE ain't countering infinity at all. Also keep in mind, Gojo's infinity is still active inside the DE and only the sure-hit gets passed it. Sukuna still had to use D-Amp to hit gojo himself inside the domains too.

you should do a similar video but disscussing the potential counters to infinity like thin ice breaker, jacobs lader, cused speech, falling blossom emotion, anti-gravity and gravity, yuki ct, ranta ct, druhv shikigami domain, and maybe kusakabe simple domain.
Have to say, while Domain expansion is a sure way to counter infinity(thought there is the risk of Infinite Void), it vastly depends on what kind of technique the character has.
The Spear blade has limited range, and even combining it with the Chain its use is only that good when used by someone physically gifted, just as the triple nunchaku was decent in Geto, Maki and Todo hands but absolute lethal with a stronger Toji. I would put the Spear alone in the B Tier.
Mahoraga by the way is the only S Tier. Sukuna managed to make him an ally, but even as a menace for the caster it can adapt and become a full time counter. Anime created a more than perfect fight with Sukuna vs Mahoraga, but in manga it was short on purpose to show how fast the shikigami can adapt and how serious was the urge of getting rid of it for sure.
I'd put Mahoraga in A or B. Although it's important to note that Sukuna was able to achieve World Slash through Mahoraga's second adaptation model, Mahoraga alone would not stand much of a chance against Gojo due to its limitations. Adaptation takes a long time and without the strongest sorcerer in history there to help him, he'd die to Gojo before he could fully adapt.. Hell, it's very possible he wouldn't even get to the first adaptation model. If anything, he probably just shouldn't be on the tier list since he's like a puzzle piece to World Slash.

I would have put Mahoraga as A tier, since you need to be able to survive long enough for Mahoraga to adapt to infinity and if you do win, you still need to beat Mahoraga

*spoilers* One I don’t think people talk about is nobara’s technique; it would rely on her getting a piece of go/jo’s body, but it would still surpass his infinity. So would Angel’s technique but it wouldn’t do any damage (I don’t think)
Since infinity works by infinitely slowing down attacks used on the wielder, do you think you could bypass it by not actually trying to exert your own attack but instead putting out a sharp object or something in front of you, staying static, and then having the wielder pulled towards you somehow? Wether it be by falling onto you or some sort of conveyor type thing? Because then if you're not technically attacking there's no attack to be slowed by the infinity, it can't slow you down if you're not moving. So if you did that you'd basically just be a spike for the infinity wielder to get shoved into, so you could easily bypass infinity without any broken abilities or special weapons. All you need is some random knife and a way to get the wielder to be pushed into you and you can damage them.
Gojo has shown the capability of floating by separating himself from the ground with infinity, so this specific application might not work 🤔
Physics wise, there’s no such thing as absolute motion or absolute perspective which basically means in this case it doesn’t matter if you’re approaching Gojo or he’s approaching you. Hanami’s death proved as much. Then again, applying physics to shonen magic is inherently absurd.
I personally would have put domain amplification a bit higher simply because its likely "easier" to learn than a full domain expansion, meaning that with this technique alone you have a lot more people being capable off surpassing infinity
the 24-frame technique and nobara's resonance might work, if the Frame works as teleportation they could bypass the compressed space, and the voodoo-style curse doesnt seem to use a beam or projectile. As long as a technique doesnt have to go through space in order to hit it should be able to affect gojo

If that was the case I'm sure we would've seen that in the fight against sukuna, it doesn't matter how much you bend and distort the space, since there's infinite amount of it between you and Gojo thanks to infinity

You forgot Jacob's Ladder and Deadly Sentencing. Uro's Thin-Ice Break could also possibly bypass Infinity due to its nature. Dhruv's technique can also bypass Infinity.
Uro would have to hit gojo with the space shatter and not the resulting force which pretty sure is impossible.

Here's a thought, Infinity only stops attacks that move so what attacks that don't move? Like what about if Gojo fought someone who had an attack similar to his domain expansion's information overload? Or what if I draw from an outside source and ask what if Gojo fought Medusa from Greek mythology? What I'm getting at here is I think adverse instantaneous effects are the way to beat him. I mean, isn't that what the prison realm was? Not a direct attack but an adverse effect?
WCS should NOT be S, only reason it hit was because of heavy circumstances and in a vacuum inverted spear of heaven should technically have a higher success rate with the right users, while if Gojo was actually paying attention (he can see the flow of cursed energy so he knew it was coming he just apparently didn’t care) it doesn’t matter the user, it’s not hitting because of a long cast time

You forgot to add Angel's technique which can nullify every and all cursed techniques including the limitless. Jacob's ladder would pierce through infinity and laser gojo if he got hit by it. Angel likely weilded the full inverted spear of heaven before she turned into a cursed object.

If honestly put WCS lower, at maybe A or B tier, while it is a one shot and would finish the fight instantly, it also requires an incantation and hand gestures, which would allow him to easily dodge it. Only reason he didn’t before (correct me if I’m wrong) is because for 2 reasons, A: he was too busy gloating, and B: sukuna did a binding vow, removing the incantation requirement once in exchange for always requiring a full incantation and hand gestures.
TLDR it could work once but likely never work again
Actually when he hit gojo he DID have to use the incantations but I’m not sure about the hand sign. He was probably just far enough away to not hear it

@@Crown865 what was that about sure hit effects not traveling? i honestly cant belive someone would make a video saying that so confidently, maki was refering to dagons specific domain, because part of his technique was that you wouldnt see it until they bit you, as we see on gojo vs jogo, jogo tries to hit gojo with his technique, to which gojo explains that inside domains the technique is guaranteed to hit, but that you can either hit it back with cursed energy, (therefore the hit isnt instantaneous) or you can use simple domain or your own domain amplification, this is one of many big misunderstandings he has about jjk

Mahoraga's first adaptation is better. It made him and his CE have a property of bypassing Infinity. Also, Domain Expansion should be A to B Tier only because Gojos is literally the best (even against Barrierless).

You forgot kashimo’s ct. Amber beast whatever this allows him to control any and all electrical phenomena including em waves which travel on a sub atomic level. Infinity can only slow things down on the atomic level.

I had a section of the video for it before.. but then I realised infinity checks for Cursed Energy. Since it stopped the shockwaves (an air attack) from Jogo which were presumably imbued with Cursed Energy, I just threw it out.
I think one counter outside the universe of JJK would by anything with an infinite speed
