In this one guys I’ll show you how to pull off submission reversal or some may call counters in EA Sports UFC 5. Submission reversals will definitely improve your ground game and submission. The entries are usually strong which make escaping submissions for your opponents a lot slower so it would be easier to deny. Be sure to check out my other videos for striking tips.

Maybe w a less broke transition system subs shlda been one shot. If you have two grapplers it’s impossible to get a one shot even draining their stamina

Another great tutorial video needed in the community. The bit toward the end is legendary knowledge.
Someone needs to code an application/website which has stats/move list of all fighters, and you’re able to filter out based on any criteria. This is the next step for the community when it comes to general knowledge and study. All we’re waiting on is someone to pull the trigger.

Im not a great striker i put most of my time in grappling and i made so many people quit with the half guard kimura counter . Also the darce from half guard but less . But man i dont like when they quit . Just eat your loss .

There are certain submissions I don't get how to do. Like apparently you can do an Armbar from single collar clinch (not a flying armbar) with L2 + L1 + RS up but I've not been able to do it.

You Can Do this more easy you juste have to deny the transition with both L2 and R2

Yes it is. You need a big stamina advantage for this. and i think the stats of your fighter are also important
If you have enough stamina advantage it can happen. A lot times they survive by a sliver tho
Yeah I did it several times. There's an option when you are in the 1st position before submitting your opponent, it's called struggle I think. Hold down R1 on PS5, this will drain both players staminas at the same time. So only use this if your opponent has less stamina than you.
What I do is:
1. Deny the opponent's movements once or twice to drain their stamina.
2. Now hold down the R1 button to struggle, let's say I have 100% stamina, opponent has 60%, after I struggle for some time, opponent will have barely any stamina while I would have for example 40% left. You can also deny transitions while you are struggling.
3. Finally, go for the submission using the right stick upwards when the opponent's stamina is close to 0. This will tap them out immediately. It needs some practice and patience to do this, but you'll get used to it easily.

@@MrSERYOGA100you can’t on ufc 3 I believe, I can’t remember upkicks on ufc 3. Pretty sure it was introduced in ufc 4 but yeah it’s either kick button (O or X).
(If you hold L1 + spam kick button rapidly, you’ll get the upkick every time 😉🤫)
