@@demballage99 from what i heard at levels 150, 340, 460, 625 and 725 the stats on your weapons will roll higher. I wonder if you can get mana cost reduction on both your boots and amulet you have cheap enough mana cost to not need a basic skill. Nova still applies all of your conditional damage debuffs though so it's still a huge part of your damage especially with more paragon points. It does seem much tankier from the all the stuns though. In the long run i don't think it'll be as high damage as ice (especially when partied with more sorcs) but it's more fun imo.
im going to run capstone with my ice shard build (currently setup), see how far i could get, and then switch over to the CBolt build and compare. If i remember i'll reply with my results
just tried it, it's much more flexible than ice shards... you're not locked to when frost nova is not on CD. But still, it's a very close call. I like ice shards becasue its better for pvp situations.
i dismantle mother embrace by accident how can i get it again ?
Sorc endgame build is all about the ice shard machine gun. I don’t raven need a basic I have 100 percent uptime on shard lmao. Damage is just stupid, survive is good will be much better when I’m 70 lmao. Yup lvl 50 I soloed the 70 capstone with this build. Big aoe’s use shatter, machine gun use avalanche. I like aval because of up time, use inferno to pull until you get the ascendant helm that pulls
Its good for push end game? seems awesome but i don`t know if u tested it more with the mana regen of the legendary paragon talent
people worrying about nerfs and buffs just play what you want the game is easy and just take your time its been like 3 days haha
Could you maybe make a full guide for this? Looks hella fun
I'm not that big on this build. Just put it together and tried it. It's ok but sucks with single target damage. That's been all sorcerer builds though. If you know any massive single target I can use for dungeon bosses let me know. Everything seems to suck without groups of enemies
hi i tried this build but my single target damage seems to be low. in most cases only 2 charged bolt spikes hit a target not all 5 even though i cast it melee range. is this a bug?
Can I ask ice shard or this build is better ? In your opinion since u have both builds
You dont need that staff. Im face tanking without it, will probably be nice for a damage boost later
Do you have the skill tree listed somewhere? :D Great vid
You need a link where it shows all the skills point goes and for paragon.
Been having fun with this on the way to lvl 50. Is this good for endgame too?
Until I get those pieces I'll just spam chain lightning. Frost shield plus 15% freeze on hits while shielded is funny.
Rly got to try this I'm somewhat bad with my sorc. I die fast. Even tho the mobs are just one level above me on tier 3
It's close to Ice Shards build, but falls a bit short on damage, so Ice Shards is still the way to go for now.
Have you got a link to this build in D4 planner (as soon as I find this staff ill switch up from Chain Lightening) but I’m not so lucky with Sacred Uniques tbh 😱😭😭
Thx soooo much maaan i love it
tried the build and got the staff mate but I seem too have problemi buling yup dmg fast there not really any flow in my combat dunno what I might be doing wrong.
Incredibly fun but I found that by the time you get to the elite you're out of steam, and then it doesn't seem suited for single targets. I mean in groups, everything dies! Even in the next room if you're lucky... Except for elites. Any tips anyone?
Hey i just got that staff with that aspect. Nice.
I got your build , it's just the lv 5 arc leash I don't understant. Why do you max it out if you don't use it ? It's kind of a waste
any direct link for the build planner?
how do you kill bosses? seems to run out of mana very very fast
I wonder if you can get mana cost reduction on both your boots and amulet you have cheap enough mana cost to not need a basic skill. Then you can change out your basic for flame shield taking the 25 % mana cost reduce and inferno to pull people together. Maybe then you can use the unique raiment of the infinite. I think you gave me an idea for my lame game build :).
Tried this build.
Didnt feel as good as the shard/nova build. Should be better in theory. Maybe I need better lightning/lucky/stun gear.
Was about lvl 54 and had 2 of the staffs dropped. Is it common?
How well does this work post nerf? Arc lash base lucky hit chance got cut in half, and the cdr passive from it also got nerfed hard
just as good
