Happy to say I was born there,,, Brings back some old memories of visits and saw a few friends,,, Thanks again,, hope to back again someday,, Great video ...
No middle class big enough and stable enough to invest in vacation or second home in small towns in Italy .my First cousin born and rasised in small farming town in peidmonte left to Torino to work at Fiat assembly line however he managed to have a small unkept apartment in his home town.Unfortunately he passed on shortly after retiring from lung disease from the Fiat paint shop.i only met him for few hours on my visit from America .Emiliamo may you be in peace with the Lord...
🍎👍 wonderful walk and great drone shots at the beginning. Thanks so much for including the history in the description as well. Very interesting. Thanks again. - H
Your walking videos are marvelous. You move at a perfect pace and linger in all the right places, i.e. the places where I myself would (: I have had the pleasure of visiting Lazio a number of times, but never Sermonetta, so thanks very much for this beautiful video of a beautiful town. It's especially encouraging to see people out and about in outdoor restaurants and bars, enjoying the sunshine and each others' company. Your work is much appreciated!
Thank You Naomi, so happy to read such a comment! Indeed, Sermoneta Is a little away off the beaten path, but it's a little gem. I'll try to upload other mostly uncommon towns in the future. Thanks again, really!
Another enjoyable walk following you in this small town. Thanks for sharing. By the way, you must have good shoes for your walks. Those cobblestones are hard on the feet🚶♂️
Ciao! I love this, but.... I would like you to handle sound in a better way... Using a directional microphone, or the very simple-to use Ronald in-ear mikes
Thank you Olov! Yup, I agreed 100%. Unfortunately my older walks didn't have the best of sounds, but, starting from last week, I bought a new separate external recorder (TASCAM) which will be completely change the sound recording. The first video with this new device will be set for next Friday (town of *Vitorchiano*), and from that point on, all new walking videos will have the new sounds (biking ... a little later, perhaps a few weeks). A shame for the older videos... but I truly started to learn different tips with time :/ Glad you enjoyed it though and thank you so much for the tip
At 10:28 a woman comes out a door following two men who just exited same place. Their home? An establishment? Anyway, they saunter around the corner and the sexy man in the blue shirt waves at someone. They continue and finally join a group. A regular hangout for them and their neighbors? I LOVE this sort of scenario. You went around the block past several other establishments with tables, but no patrons. Was it just not time to open, or does that one place have "it" that attracts everyone. And then we ended in the same popular courtyard. I recognized the sign "Bar Gelateria Artigianle Bar"(at least I think that was it). The same couple was still at the corner table. I would have loved to sit in a corner and watch the action.
Ah Sharon, didn't notice that. I guess we can imagine , each one of us, what it was, maybe a family gathering, or else. Each one has a different opinion I guess). These are indeed the "little details" that one can notice in these small tours... watching "life" going by and persons living their moment just for that 1 hour or so
Ciao Asararieza, it's hard to tell, as I don't know personally :/ I went by car from Rome ... from Naples you must take the train to the city of Latina - from Latina by bus to Semoneta. I see this from Google Maps but don't know the details unfortunately
Bonito pueblo medieval, limpio, con su castillo e iglesia; me gustó ver gente por las calles, se me antojaron los gelatos 😋. Gracias Riccardo por permitirme viajar al pasado, cuídate, saludos 🇲🇽

Hard to know the exact dates Silly, but many stems from medieval times and were probabl renovated in 17th century I believe. But definitely that's a guess from my part
A favourite movie of mine 'Isabella,Duchesa dei diavoli' was filmed here!! Beautiful!!!
Ciao Sara, don't know that movie, I'll search it up now then. Sermoneta is stunning ...
A great walking tour that nicely captures the charm and quietness of the town.
