For $100 type pricing it sure has amazing capability. Funny - as I watched I was thinking of the old Knight 5Mhz scope I got at a flea market as a teenager and at the end you showing your old scope - well you pretty much said what I was thinking. Besides as a first scope for a hobbyist, it would also be great for labs and demos in universities.

Are the inputs isolated from the USB and from each other?

Not from each other. Will have to check USB but I suspect not.

Hello. There seems to be a triger problem since trying to make 2 channels with a single channel oscilloscope chip. In terms of measurement, Owon PC oscilloscope or MT120mc2? Thanks.

The sampling gets shared between the channels if they are both active. This is common to many digital 'scopes. Really the Owon is a different product since it has to be used with a PC, but the sampling rate does seem to be higher on that. Which you select would depend on your requirements.

Please tell me how you connected it to the PC. I have the software you used. I tested it with the software you provide and also tested it with the software available on the purchase page. Both are identical. When I open the app without connecting the device, I get the message "Failed to connect to serial port." This is normal. When I connect the oscilloscope to the computer, it displays a new "com" port, which in my case is "com 20," but when I open the app, I get a Windows error showing a failure to start the app with a debug message. This happens every time I run the "ScopeMeter.exe" file. The "ScopeMeter.application" file gives an error when downloading the files, saying that they are currently unavailable. Could you help with some information?

I honestly don't know what is happening there. Perhaps start by trying to run the exe file as administrator (right click option). Try different USB ports too.

@@video99couk Thanks for answering, I tried many things but without success, as I use Windows 11 I also tried to connect the oscilloscope to a virtual machine using Windows 10 but without success again, I'll try...

@@Vandeko_bass Hey, same problem, just figured it out. It's Windows blocking downloaded files. My main computer runs win 11. I also have one of those chinese tablets, with intel processor running win 10. I mainly use this tablet for documents, transfering the files from my pc. Because of that, it was blocking every single one, which I needed to unblock one by one on properties. Because of that, I've disabled this on registry. I've tested the scope on pc, with the same issues as yours. I've tested on the tabled and it run right away. No need to install the program, just run directly the exe.
So I've also just disabled the Block Files Downloaded from Internet on my pc and the scope started imediately.
Previously, I did manually unblock the zip before, but apparently was not enough.

How you do to install the software in your pc? I have wind 10 in mi pc(the recomend by the manufacturer) and the software doesn't works for me. When i try install error mensage is show: "Unable to download the application or all files required by the application are available Contact the application vendor for assistance."

I used the link from my video notes. Then Google Drive opens, in the top right is the option to download the file set. Then unzip and install.

No need to install, just run the exe. As I described on a comment above, I had an issue with Windows blocking the program or one of the files as safety measure, or something else. It's now working after disabling "Block Files Downloaded from Internet"

It is cheap, but quite poor. Input protection is not even mentioned. I would not even try to measure anything higher than, say, 40-50V, and I would not have USB connected if the input is higher than a few volts (unless the inputs are isolated, which I doubt). Well, perhaps, I would not even bother with such a toy. I would use something like good old Fluke 97 or 99.

Apples and oranges mate. Check the pricing on the 97 and 99, not that great when you're on a budget. These little devices are great value.
