Its only one pull to open and lift the seat. It's the same handle. Pull up with your left hand as the right hand on the back to lift it up. Simple. I love my Hellcat!
Probably worth mentioning the Durango is a midsize performance oriented SUV and the Escalade is a full size luxury oriented SUV. They don’t exactly compare to one another and I can’t imagine anyone cross shopping these them but it is a common matchup in reviews. Edit: also worth mention the reason for the manual shifting issues is the laggy tach. Once you realize the tach is waaaay behind it becomes a bit easier to manage the paddle shifting (I set the shift lights with the tach delay in mind).
I don’t own a Durango Hellcat but if I did I wouldn’t like someone calling it a family SUV. Most people that would buy a vehicle like this live up north. They would purchase a performance coupe but it’s not practical up north. So we buy performance SUVs.
And uh, just which one has a higher tow rating for its size and class? Remember, or consider this, the Durango is a true cross-over. It's not on a truck platform and it's not an SUV. It is on a CAR chassis. So, which one gets the nod?
The Durango is such a beautiful car, currently I’m choosing between a Durango hellcat and a jeep trackhawk. But for trackhawk these days they run for about $70k - $120k with more then 30,000 miles and you could find a Durango for about $60k - $80k with less then 25,000 miles. It’s a very hard choice to make
I will take a Durango over an Escalade any day of the week. Why do people talk about fuel mileage when most people with I.Q. above a Goldfish or Democrat know this is not a deciding factor when choosing a vehicle with this kind of power.
It wasn’t brought back for 22 actually and I think that’s the reason why it’s pretty pricey now. It used to start at 81k in 2021 and go up from there but now in 23 it start at 90 or 91k. I also heard for 24 it’s gonna start even higher 😂.
Fun fun fun, a bit late on power mayb lol coming outa corners, looks like you might benefit from looking a bit farther ahead lol ... I wish I was there taking a few laps with y guys lol
Exactly I have r/t 2023 I love it had a dude with Escalade try race me 😼 I wasn’t in mood that day but underneath of Cadillac I don’t like setup too low it coulda been done better in my eyes 👀 I would never spend that time funds on Cadillac but for free yes 👍🏾 I would take one 🤣
Toyota people are so boring. Yeah I owned two cars my whole Life. Thankgod for Toyota snail mobiles. I put 400k on my toyota I bought it 40 years ago. ZZZZZZZZZZZZz
Wait your comparing a $152,295 Full Size Body on frame SUV to a $94,605 Mid Size unibody SUV? They are Totally different classes and the Escalade is $57k More it better be better. Hell even a fully loaded the Durango is still $40k Cheaper..... Sorry but they are 2 different 2 compare. I can swing a Durango if I skip vacations for the rest of my life but I can't even begin to afford an Escalade. Now on the other hand if I could afford a Escalade I would not even look at a Durango I would get an Escalade or if I don't need the 3rd row a Porsche Cayenne Turbo E-Hybrid. It cost about the same with way more HP. Compare apples to apples not apples to Oranges.
Special thanks to our Patreons for their support of the channel! Durango Hellcat or Escalade V?
ESCALADE V WITHOUT A Question
Durango all day every day. Escalade is too much show and not enough go.
Durango hands down
💪💪💪

I know they don't update their models that often, but I'm really digging the Mopar design language over the last decade or so.
Agreed. Take the Durango. Both are kinda stupid vehicles, but they are meant to be outrageous fun. So take the one that does that best…the Durango!
indeeeeddddd
Also, I don’t see how the Cadillac justifies a 60k more price tag on it. I honestly don’t think the Cadillac is worth that much.

Just bought one same color! Still breaking it in so haven’t been able to get on it

Very different kind of review than you get from the other channels like TFL, Alex on Autos, etc. Thanks for bringing something new to the table.
🙏💯

This is why I own one.. the handling is great (body of frame is not for me) and it’s still large enough to be functional as a daily driver.
Doesn’t Durango sticker for considerably less than the Escalade V with more power?
Sure does…watch the whole video
Very nice ❤truck

I would love to know where your finding hellcat durangos for 60k
Comparing the refinement of a Cadillac to a Dodge is like comparing an Audi to a VW. Cmon man.

Lmao! Well said.
They didn’t bring it back for 2022, on 21 and 23 so far…
Gaaahhh🤪🙃
Luv da vid an explanation
Still love the Durango 🎉

About time we get a honest review
🙏that what you’ll get here
Or get smoked by a hellcat durango while you drive that slow escalade 😂

@@dwnshft Great review btw. Merry Christmas 🎄
@@WFO. thank you 🙏 to you and yours as well 🎄🎅
Bring back the Ramcharger ! Add two more doors to it.
TOO LATE. They’ve already turned it into a PICKUP TRUCK.
How about the fact that the Caddilac costs TWICE what the Dodge does???
The Cadillac V is like 40k more then the Durango Hellcat
Durango is badass! I'll take that! The Escalade is ugly to me. Looks like a rolling box.
1:06 I bet there are more 4runners on the road from 2011 than durango 😂😂😂😂😂
Lets see only 1,199 2011 Durango were sold and 121,023 2011 4runners were sold yea I would think so DUH.
Toyota people are so boring. Yeah I owned two cars my whole Life. Thankgod for Toyota snail mobiles. I put 400k on my toyota I bought it 40 years ago. ZZZZZZZZZZZZz
The only thing that matters is that only Dodge would make such a vehicle. The only exciting car company in usa
loved you respected the cyclist, thanks for making the world a better place
Always share the road and have respect 🫡 💯
This is slow..tesla s plaid 0 to 60 is twice as fast..1.7sec vs this 3.5sec
😒😒😒
🤦♂️
People want the vroom. Not the golf cart
Tesla? Thats like compairing battleships to aircraft. WTF!!?

You're not getting a brand new Hellcat Durango for under 100k
