What a great experience! My wife and I did the honeymoon road trip back in 1983 and didn't really experience even half of what you both did. Thinking we'll be doing it again after watching your video only this time we'll have the $35 to pay for parking...lol....... Thanks for continuing to bring us all along for the ride while enjoying what you both love.

That sounds romantic! Make certain to include dinner or lunch in the Skylon Tower. Guaranteed to make you fall in love with the entire day!

Hi Mark and Sue! It was heartening to see you summon the confidence to make the trip into Canada - those Adventure Caravan confidence-building experiences continue to pay dividends. You may have winged it on the activities, but you were undoubtedly prepared for much of your stay as you did so much. I'd do all those poncho activities in a heartbeat - no barrels for me either😂. The Sklyon dining looked thrilling - good of you Sue, handling the height so well. Mark, I would prefer your spoken tour of the power station over anything they provided. Thank you for the vicarious experience and for adding some joy to my Sunday morning. 👍🏾💙🤍❤️

Sue was smart to just speed over everything I was saying. Sometimes I just can't help myself, and go into engineering mode a few steps too deep!

That was a great video of the Falls and things to do around the area. We haven’t been there in years and some of the things you mentioned were not even open the last time we were there. I see we will definitely go back again. Thanks From Wisconsin

Living in NY, Niagara Falls is less than 2 hours from my house. Fortunate enough to experience all the same adventures as OJM. Thanks for sharing.....

Excellent tour video from across the maple leaf 🍁border guys! I can hear Timmy calling my name to get my ☕ fix on. The Niagara Power Station tour looks much more exciting than the Hoover Dam power generation plant tour I took a couple years back. And, just think all that water is headed to the Great Lakes! Thanks for sharing and Happy 2025! 🥂Cheers!

Thanks for watching Adam. I thought the same as you. This dam tour and museum is way better than the Hoover Dam Tour. But of course the OUTSIDE of the Hoover Dam and surrounding area will pop your eyes out of your head!

Great video! We were there for our first time this past October with Fantasy RV Tours. We had a great time and thought we didn’t need to go back. Your video showed us that we do need to return because we missed the White Water Walk as well as the Power Station and Tunnel.

You can go to the same awesome cities many times over, and see and do other things. This happens to us a lot. We always tell folks to look at our Playlist that is categorized by STATE, and take a quick inventory on what WE DID when we visited that state. If you do that with our channel. and maybe others that you watch, you will have a great "baseline list" to use as your starting point.

This was a fun video to watch. Even though you paid Way too much to park and eat, after your $$ conversion, your entire vacation was only $189 USD😊😊

Just shows you how lazy we are sometimes! Having our clothes changes easy to get to as the daily temps changed, and packing our lunch two days made having the car close a real advantage we were OK paying for. It just decreases my kids inheritance.

I hear ya! It’s tough to fit everything in. We REALLY, REALLY try not to make too long of videos. The upcoming (8) part 36 Day Adventure Caravans Historic East Coast America Tour Series videos took about 45 hours PER VIDEO to edit them down to manageable "bitesize" episodes!

Many Floridians are returning to New York, and one is returning to Buffalo, New York; they claimed that the cost of living was lower there. We now prefer Tennessee to Florida, I know. awaiting the outcome of the Trump situation. On the sidelines for the time being as far as RVing. Decided to paring down expenses and wait to see what happens as his latest statements like Trump's statement about eliminating the FDIC and NCUA should tell you everything you need to know about him. It kind of worried us. Who knows what else he going to piss-off. I seeing a lot of exiting from Florida Christmas Church services usually packed this year hardly 150 to 200 at the service.

I like eating at the tower at dusk because you can see them turn on all the lights that illuminate the falls.
That and did you see at the power project where they built a underground resofwar to hold water that they could use during the day so it didn't lower the water level in the river. They said it was so big you could run a nuclear sub up the tunnel.

    • @OurJourneyInMyles
      @OurJourneyInMyles  17 วันที่ผ่านมา

We did not get to see that,......it may have been discussed on some of the wall displays in the museum. We spent a really long time there, but eventually the old back gives out!

Hey, Last time I was in Niagara Falls was in 1972 you could walk behind the falls in tunnels they closed them up I think it was 1976. ???
The Wax Museum, was there and the Incline train. Glass elevator on the USA side. that all gone. I'm home doing doctor tourism as an Senior it a mandatory sooner or later trip your got to take. I tell this much Florida is getting way to expensive in the Insurances and Utilities, property Taxes. I'm found a few in TN my same policy a year is like 1/8 the price I pay now. food was cheaper up there too.
