Impressive "high end " supercell forms SW of McCook, NE. Due to the storms slow movement I was able to shoot time lapse video of the storm from the same location for about 3 hours ! I was far enough away from the storm that no hail fell at my location .The storm explodes in strength during the video . Numerous storm chasers were on this storm . Measured hailstones were as large as 3.8 inches . Hail fell off and on for 1 hour and 40 minutes 5 miles West of McCook . The end of the video features a beautiful scene of the supercell "winding down " as the sun sets .
