I'm impressed by how uniform and straight all the wood is and how well everything fits together. Good planning by the mill workers and architect. As an American carpenter I think this would be harder to do, I feel like I am constantly having to fix and/or adjust other people's work along the entire way whether it be the architect, foundation workers, etc, even with prefabbed materials all the while fighting with bent and mishaped wood.
One thing I am confused about is why they don't stagger the plywood on the roof sheeting?

What is this membrane they are applying here at the 8:10 timestamp? Is it for waterproofing or is it for anti termite?
