id actually call it a draw cause of the music types one is rock and roll (not sure of the exact genre of the the music) and disney is musical... though splendida has the longer horn songs the disney ship needs breaks between theirs.
If you'll notice, the MCS digital horns are also much much quieter than they DCL digital horns. The MCS horns are only reletively loid when heard directky from the side. And even then theyre fairly quiet. The DCL horns are rediculously loud from all angles and sides of the ship.

Hi everybody! Well, I found out what the music is coming from, after doing research and connecting it with the video posted above. LRAD!! Long Range Acoustical Device. What got me interested was that Animal Planet program "Whale Wars". The Japanese fleet was using LRAD against the Sea Shepherds. Well, the owner of the ship also purchased LRAD to use against the Japanese, however they were playing music through theirs, mainly "Ride of the Valkyries". OK, the sound generated by a large LRAD is above and beyond anything a loudspeaker can create.The sound actually re-amplifies in the air in front of the LRAD, and by many times, hence the deep bass that carries for a long way. This LRAD could actually be used as the ship's main whistle!! The people who came up with this idea, intentionally set this MIDI sequence up to play very slowly, as if it were being played through real horns. OK if you watch the video again, you note the sound getting more and more powerful as the stern of the ship approaches. At 2.31 on the video, you see the LRAD hung out over the side of the ship, it is painted white to match the ship. Looking at other photos, shows the LRAD on the other side of the ship too. It looks kinda like radar dishes, but that is the LRAD. Since pirates often try to board near the stern, these LRAD arrays can be used as weapons against the pirates too and have been used on other cruise ships, hence on some other MSC ships, their LRAD weapons are now being used to entertain people!! Good stuff!!

You're playing 3 different artists from a pool of unlimited choices against a company that plays it's own I think 10 or 11 tunes now from real horns. What you actually hear is just an audio file played thru the ship's LRAD's : the original purpose is a "defensive" super speaker that can focalise on approaching pirates and plays a painfully loud high pitched sound. you can see two LRAD at 2:30 : the large dishes mounted on the sides, pointing forward and aft . the passengers nearby are not stunned by the loudness because the sound is focalized, they are standing outside the "sound beam"

This is impressive. It reminds me of one of my church bell ringers. In my town, there's an annual 5k race through town, and as the racers pass by the church, this bell ringer would go up into the tower and play the Chariots of Fire theme on the bells.

Ph0ny Gam3r who wins? Disney. The only reason MSC can play full songs is because they use LRAD, pretty much just a speaker. Disney uses true horns, which is why they can only play tunes, because horns need to recharge the air to play more, which would make the song almost an hour long.
You said horn battle which means the MSC can only play the default horn because MSC uses Lard, and DCL use actual horns. By default DCL wins.
