    The sets from 1997 are so expensive nowadays it's crazy, I guess it's because not many people who own them are willing to sell them.
    Pirates Perilous Pitfall goes for almost $800 CAD used on Bricklink. Crossbone Clipper for $455 CAD, and Pirate's Ambush for $200 CAD.
    I recently bought Imperial Trading post, Eldorado Fortress and Rock Island Refuge of off Bricklink, it cost me a little fortune.

    Still have all my sets from 1989)90 , I was hoping my kids would play with them but alas no.

    i am a massive pirates fan, and i own all the 1989 sets. but still, some of those i can only dream of owning such as the skulls eye schooner

    I realy like the pirates but it’s very expensive do should I get the small mini islands or not

      Yes but luckily, I started to buy it a lot of years ago, when the Pirates sets don't cost to much. With the prices of the last years, a collection like this is hard to have and this is a bad for the new fan :(
      I hope the prices start to decrease!
