S/EAST GOVS TO INTERFACE WITH FG ON NNAMDI KANU RELEASE

The Southeast Governors Forum says it will interface with the Federal Government to seek the release of the detained leader of Indigenous People Of Biafra,Mazi Nnamdi Kanu.
Rising from a meeting Tuesday at the Government House Enugu,the Chairman of the forum and Governor Of Imo State,Hope Uzodimma in a communique says this will go a long way to addressing the insecurity in the zone,pointing that the forum is also reviewing the Zonal report aimed at repositioning the Southeast strategically.
He further disclosed that the forum received former president Olusegun Obasanjo, former Secretary General Of the Commonwealth,Emeka Anyaoku and the Obi of Onitsha who came to show solidarity with the forum.
