You guys! it took me 1 week to get passed all the chapters! I had to look down, sprint and jump over 4 times! I fell down 4 times in insane mode! So you could do this for action survival horror! When you messed up or lost batteries! Get in nightmare mode to pick chapters for practice!

He just looks back and run in it so it will not animate it. In one of my last runs in the mine i looked behind me while crouching through a gap and i fell trough the floor and died this game is broken

They started killing kids cause they feared one of them was the antichrist,they tough Lynn (Blake's wife is pregnant with the antichrist,that why they want to kill her,but there are heretic that wants the bay to be bornso they took her,but theres a theory that the baby never was born and it was halucination from Murkoff,cause a tower or station there that you see from the lake part sends some kinds of wave I forgot the name about amd they all halucinate even Blake,he even told they didn't do it in a long time,but to understand better play the game or check lore,if I'm wrong anyone correct me
late asf but basically there’s radios connected to Murkoff’s grounds, which send signals over the village whenever they’re on. These waves the radios gave have the same effects of the Morphogenetic Engine that we see back in Outlast 1, so as a result everyone exposed to these waves descended into insanity the same way the patients of the asylum did. Blake’s 4th grade hallucinations are part of his descent into madness, meaning the engine’s effects were working. In the Outlast DLC, a document tells us why women had to be taken off of the asylum grounds, so this meant they had female employees and patients at some point but had to remove them. The engine has different effects on women, and causes these fake pregnancies that are also hallucinations. These fake pregnancies also kill the women who give birth to these nonexistent babies, and since it was prone to extreme public trouble to Murkoff they had to remove women. In the village, these deaths caused by these fake pregnancies is probably what made the village (who is already insane) believe that these unborn are the antichrist and forcefully remove it from the woman, also in an possible attempt to “save” her. Obviously, their insanity caused by the engine made them go too far and slaughter every living kid in the village. The village on its descent into insanity ended up split apart prior to Blake and Lynn’s presences. The “hands of the lord” being Knoth’s christian side, the heretics (rebels of god who wanted to see the world end with the “antichrist baby’s” birth), and those like the scalled (std-infected and dying individuals who had to be separated from everyone from how bad it was, however they all think their sickness is related to sin). Apparently both Blake and Lynn went insane unintentionally due to the engine exposure and that’s what we see in this game. a bunch to explain, but that’s the rundown
