- This is a almost shot by shot remake of the original Forget video by pogo which you can watch here ^_^: • Forget
I had to go through a lot of my Blu ray collection and various HD rips of films and extract each clip losslessly using ffmpeg. This is a very late anniversary video since it has now been 6 years since the original Forget video has been uploaded and this video is not a replacement for that video its really just a tribute and experiment in rendering videos in 4k.

The creator making the movement of the characters sync up with the beat is impressive.
Not the original creator, pogo, but i made sure when remaking this it syncs up a little bit better

Its still there! Just not in the main focus of American animation. If you watch something, anything from anywhere else there is so much 2D! But never discredit 3D artists and animation! I think there is plenty of room for both.

This is almost a clip for clip remake of the original video but it just ... FEELS different here like there's somehow more energy and life but I can't figure out where its coming from and i love it.
I added some changes like the frame rate and some clips being longer than in the original.
My big change was removing the flashing lights during this fantasia clip at 2:09
Thought that worked a-lot better and wasn’t straining the eyes like in the original.

This song gives me chills. Not bad chills, good chills. It reminds me that there’s still joy in this world, and there are still places were people can spend and be happy. I haven’t been to Disney world in almost 7 years, but, I’m hoping, this year I can finally experience the magical feeling in real life instead of just watching videos of other people enjoying it.

The end of the handrawn beautiful and creative era of Disney where every movie they made was a work of art that let them out their full effort and time in it.
The end of that era was emperor’s new groove defo
After that they released home on the range and it all went downhill before their switch to all 3d all the time
Still haven’t given that film a watch and I love meet the robinsons ^
Now it’s gotten to a point where all of that depth and merit is only left to the occasional visual scene. Everything else is just empty or woke.

I'm a big sucker for retro 40's and 50's culture, especially animation. This song makes me feel a sense of nostalgia for that era, even though I'm 13 and never even lived in that era. The combination of vocals and the short little musical intervals give me a sense of relief that I haven't felt in a while. In other words, this song is an absolute masterpiece.
Edit: For those of y'all wondering, the only reason this comment has so many replies is because there were a bunch of greasy keyboard warriors arguing about my old pfp. Also just in case, I am aware that some of the rips are from other Disney movies that aren't animated, and I would like to point out that I like those too!

As someone who was pretty much raised by Disney watching this made me feel very nostalgic. It feels like Disney lost most of its magic and now their only focus is money. It's pretty sad :(

This would have been hard to recreate, having to find the movies in 4k, then finding the exact timestamp, and editing them to be perfect and yet you did it, good job because this is amazingly done

I didn't use any upscaling software.

Even watching Disney movies today brings a lot of childhood nostalgia, and this song just sounds like a nostalgic memory that doesn’t exist and I can’t explain it. Put both those things together and it is such an amazing vibe.

To be honest this makes me feel warm on the inside but it’s kinda sad at the same time I love it

My kids showed this to me the other day. They're the only reason I stay up to date on all the new trends. And normally I can't stand the dumb stuff they show me from these days...But this song and video is such a HUGE exception!
