Definitely. But in fairness, this actually does fit within the existing lore and scope of a Spider-Man and/or Venom series but grander. While Batman Who Laughs and Death Metal were pretty awesome, they also come more out of the blue like a what if or "Hey alternate universe story time!". While AU stuff are technically within the lore too, it is a bit outside of the Batman scope or normal wheelhouse. Honestly though. Can't complain. BWL and DM were great and I have been enjoying all of King in Black and the symbiote stuff so far.

Marvel already announced that they will not recast him and that Black Panther 2 will follow Shuri. Personally I hope that eventually instead of recasting him they could bring in a different T'Challa from the multiverse.
