- Changes to the Getaway in 2019 include Norwegian’s first on-board full-service Starbucks®, the popular rock ‘n’ roll-themed entertainment venue, Syd Norman’s Pour House, and the Illusionarium. In addition, the ship’s library was transformed into a new Perspectives Photo Studio; a water feature was added in Spice H2O, and the vibe beach club size was increased. On a sad note, they eliminated 2 free activities, mini golf and the rock wall. Staff did say they're going to replace with something fun but no word on what that may be yet.
Here is the tour layout. Starting with deck 6 and moving upward.

Thanks for the tour. This fall I was on the Breakaway and you can tell they are sister ships. Your walkabout had me taking a trip down memory lane.
The solo meetups were held at the Bliss lounge.
O'Sheehan's is open 24 hours. The night time menu is mainly pub grub.
As with you, the Waterfront was my preferred outdoor space. Whether going for a walk, having a pint or watching the sun over the water, I enjoyed the relaxed feel it provided.
I'm surprised that you don't have more subscribers because your videos are informative and engaging.

Great Tour! Just booked for this April for 12 day cruise! Super excited! second time sailing with NCL and we absolutely love them!
Us too! They do a really great job. We’re getting on the Prima in 3 weeks. Very controversial ship but I can’t wait!!!
What was your first NCL crusie?
My first NCL cruise was last May on the Joy. Wonderful ship! Seen the Prima because it was docked next to it. Looked like a beautiful ship to me. Have a blast!
The only reason I do not dine in La Cucina is because it is like an exact version of Olive Garden, which is everywhere in the States.

We are going on her in April, just a little advice, slow down moving the camera so it can focus better. The picture is very blurry at times when it goes too fast, other then that it's a nice tour of the ship.

Just came back from.the Getaway cruise - enjoyed it but did not like very dark decore, bad flow, layout has room for improvement and swimming pool is much too small
I agree with the layout. For that reason the Breakaway class of ships is probably my least favorite for NCL. I do enjoy the Beakaway Plus though.
we love la cucina the osso buco is delicious

Some is so unique and beautiful….that coming from someone who knows nothing about art. Lol! However someone shared that after they purchased a piece from the ship, they found an identical inexpensive print on Amazon.
