You will have a great time hiking alone.There are a lot of people in you situation that are more then willing to meet up and hike with you if that what’s what you want. There are a lot of people around. The staff are great and no question is to dumb so do the afraid to ask. My biggest advise would be to not bring to much stuff. Keep it simple and lightweight. You can watch my channel or others to find tips about what you will need. No need for heavy boots or super heavy tents and backpacks. Have a great hike!
Nice! I see that you went from gas stove to an alcohol one. Any thoughts on this? First time FC Sweden here and I'd rather invest in some rain softshells than 100$ stove :)
Hi! I'm testing out different options for different trips. Gas is probably the easiest option to use but alcohol stoves has its charm. Lately I've been using the BRS 3000T gas stove that weighs 25 grams. Super cheap aswell. Think I gave 10 € on Ebay including shipping from china. Super easy to use and fits with a 100 g gas canister in my cook pot. This year I will probably use the same or even a small esbit stove. I usually only cook 1 hot meal/day and thats when I put up my camp at night. Found out that I really don't want to bother cooking during lunch time and rather have a cold meal.
