The laundry-bot would be great in the senior's buildings I work in. A lot of folks can't manage to get their laundry down to the laundry room, or into the machine, and back again....
Google Search has gone to garbage compared to what it use to be. Before the AI introduction, before the pushing of ads, before the pushing of getting you to buy stuff, before the hyper focus on your location, before focus on popular searches that includes words you used. Back when it gave you responses based on the full phrase you put in the search bar.
Something I never considered before this video was the threat AI poses to Google - all these competitors are introducing AI search because they see an opening to begin making their way back into one of the internet's biggest revenue streams, which they all begrudgingly conceded to Google long ago. But AI search will change people's whole conception of what a web search even is and the mid-'00s to mid-'20s web search paradigm, which Google completely dominated, will quickly become a distant memory. I think we're about to see the death of the word google being used as a verb.
I am glad that Claude is thriving, it has been my buddy from the very beginning, how an A.I responds to you is essential now if you want to keep a user base, as these models are converging in features and abilities, and you totally deserve to be listed in that top search, Matt!
Tried Oasis - it's amazing. It feels like you're in a dream. It's blurry to help encourage changes (I imagine), but I was looking at some rocks in a small body of water and they all turned into cows, when I looked down I was in the middle of the ocean, and when I looked back up it was a desert. The music adds to the ambience. A+ tool and I'm excited to see this implemented in games.
Surely it would suck to have a game where you can never return where you went and you can never put something down and find it later. You want a "3D game world" not a hallucinated 2D view that plausibly updates as you move around.
Hi Matt, I think if you cover your chair head support with some brighter fabric, you might get rid of visual artefacts of background removal when you are minimized in the corner (it thinks that is your hair). And of course, thanks for the video !
2:05 search chat history has been available on mobile for a while, but would only search chat content for chats that were loaded on the sidebar. If you keep scrolling to show longer chat history, the search would search all visible chats. Glad they brought this to the web view.
The new location of the power button at the bottom of the Mac Mini is cat-proof. I cannot tell you how often the cats have been shutting down or resetting my computer boxes with the power button on top or even on the side. To avoid this problem, all computers in my house have hard plastic taped over the power button.

There is something that OpenAI updated that noone is talking about. I think your chats have access to your other chat sessions. So if you open up a new chat, it surprising asked me about details of my project. This never happened before. I would always have to take 5 minutes to update the a new chat session on my project. This is really great. BTW, the windows desktop version DOES NOT use Advance voice mode. It is still only the standard voice mode so you cannot interrupt it for example.
Having the Magic Mouse and being a power user, charging from the bottom is a none issue. The battery lasts easily a month I just have the habit to plug it in once per month over night, that’s also why Apple isn’t changing it.
The ChatGPT search feature dumbs down 4o (seems like a lot) to get the functionality. So either need to run two threads, or still use Perplexity to drive non-search ChatGPT threads.
With AI writing code, never use the first iteration as isn't always the best. Always ask AI to then optimise the code. It will always then produce a better version of the code. However, I dont recommend over optimising, as it often results in something difficult to understand; readability is key. Use the prompt "Please optimise as to reduce code and improve performance"
Worse, why use "Pi-0" when Inflection AI has an AI chatbot called Pi? Moreover, I thought Perplexity AI developed Pi. There are only two good names: "ChatGPT" - the Kleenex of chat interfaces,, and "Claude." Special booby prize to Microsoft Bing chat with Copilot in Edge for Windows 11.
FYI The AGI comment by Sam, may have al ulterior motive. Although, not verified it is said the current contract with MSFT has a clause that enables OpenAi to break the contract once they reach AGI and apparently that determination is not defined but rather left to the board. Given there's some tension between the two entitieis lately, his comments may be more about preparing the field for this exist strategy.
You can dictate very easily and just turn on VoiceOver and it will speak whatever’s on the screen whatever GPT or Claudia or any of the rest of them kick out just turn on voiceover

I think the ChatGPT did a good job at returning the results you asked for. Perplexity returned a longer more detailed list.. but you didn't ask for that. I guess what I'm saying is.. I think you could have got a more detailed list of popular TH-cam AI channels from ChatGPT had you asked, "can you list all the popular AI TH-cam channels and break them out by categories and details about each channel?" You can see that now it looks like the Perplexity type of result. But you just asked it to list the channels, you didn't ask for details from ChatGPT. Just pointing out that out.
12:10 looks equal to F5-TTS in Pinokio. When I created a new voice and the text for text-to-speech, it took 3900 seconds. So, I think the Hugging Face app would do something similar.

It may seem simple, but it is important to know that you have to request new hosting directly through them. I already manage a few websites, but this setup is not what I am looking for. It could work for beginners. I have requested a refund and now I am waiting to see if it is processed as promised.

Just generate a textured 3D model and render it the traditional way, writing it to storage as the player moves around. Maybe instead of storing large textures store the internal prompt ("upright mature oak tree with foliage 17") that consistently regenerates the same texture. The reason AI tools generate images and videos instead of 3D is because there are a billion times more captioned 2D image data to train on than 3D, but Meta 3D GEN and Nvidia GET3D (and the video to animated 3D scene early in this video) will get there. There's a chance that NeRF or gaussian splatting might become a better storage representation, but I don't know how well they work for dynamic lighting, bounding boxes and hit detection, etc.

All exciting stuff, I think in the future we will love stuff that has been made by man only like a good film, or story, or art work as thisAI will all get too be over used in everything. It wont have that shock cool value to it as it does for us today.

I'm jumping in the Ai arena on safety and info. I have posted the first "semester" of Ai101 on my channel. 20 classes (episodes) on the players and basic info on Ai Agi for beginners and where the industry is currently at using NotebookLM called the 'Listen Grasshopper Podcast'
I was able to download the Speech capable version of ChatGPT Voice, however it appears as if once you install it into your PC windows version it only works the first time you install it and doesn't stay with the Paid version of ChatPT Premium I have. What I have to do is reinstall in again every time I want to access the Beta. It checks for an update then opens to the Voice Capable version . Which works but doesn't stay installed at this point. Let me know if I'm missing anything. Murph
