Play with Hyper G Soft in my Pure Strike 98 Gen3 racquets at about 50lbs. Excellent combo, find it very comfortable on the arm and after a noticeable tension drop after about 3-4 hours of play settles very nicely into a consistent tension for weeks.
I have bee using Hyper G soft for already 2 months (17 - 1.20 mm), tension 23 V and 22 O on ezone 100. I'm 1 88 and 86 kg, my best shot is forehand but I feel the ball stays too long on my racquet and my forehand is not that much effective. Shell I put tension down to 21V and 20 O or this is too low for those racquet/strings. Thanks in advance for your opinion.
If you drop the tension, it will lead to the ball staying longer on the strings because of increased ball pocketing. If you want the ball to come off your racket faster, you should try something more lively. Original Hyper G will be more lively but it will also be stiffer. If your arm can handle it, you can try that.
Very informative review. Curious to know how would you rank these best selling strings - Hyper-G, Hyper-G Soft, Tour Bite Soft, and Volkl Cyclone (especially in the areas of SPIN and POCKETING)?
I use hyper g soft and once thé first drop is made, the string maintains for weeks with confort, spin and a mix of control/power. Know it before stringing and it must be judge after the drop of tension. Nb : very good to soften a frame.
We carry over 100 variety of strings from 15 companies in assorted gauges. Solinco not one of them. So many available, to each his own. Best of luck testing.
That's probably not a great choice in many markets - A shop without confidential or hyper-g is probably missing a noticeable performance market. Both of those also have great tension maintenance, so it's not like the recreational market wouldn't benefit
I opted for HyperG soft 1.15. I got a good balance between control and power with 52lbs. Thanks for your video!

Great vid. Thanks for sharing. Have played with Hyper G soft quite a bit, but never with tour bite soft.
What would be a good tension differential between normal and soft versions of TB or HG?
Luxilon Alu Power vs Luxilon 4G
4g inside Alu power outside;)

For spin: Cylone, Hyper G, Tour Bite Soft, Hyper G Soft
For pocketing: Hyper G Soft, Tour Bite Soft, Cyclone, Hyper G
Thanks for the info. One more question. How would the strings rank in your Top 10 Polys this time? What are your Too 10 polys?

Msv hex soft vs restring zero...I think they come from same factory
Same snapback on MSV hex soft as in Restring Zero?
@MaiTizzle try it ,it's like 8 dollars... it's snapback is great and it lasts
Tour bite soft still felt stiff for me. I've just strung up with HGS for the first time so I'll be able to compare.
You may want to invest in a ert300 so string reviews have more evidence for tension comparison
Confidential is the winner for me. Second Tour Bite Original. Hyper G is for me 👎
The reason why you didn't like hyperg?
like tour bit with multifilament on shorts :) try it 25x24kg :)
