Edventure Travel - Kinross Wolaroi School - Vietnam and Cambodia Service Tour 2024

In April-May 2024, students and staff from Kinross Wolaroi School in New South Wales undertook a two-week cultural and religious tour, which included a significant house-building service project. Throughout the tour, they explored the rich cultures of both countries, visiting temples, cathedrals, and museums. Students participated in various activities, such as biking around the temples of Angkor, embarking on a basketboat journey through mangrove wetlands, kayaking in Halong Bay, and attending a hands-on cooking class.
The journey presented challenges, including confronting the Khmer Rouge Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum, participating in a Great Race activity around Hoi An, and experiencing the realities of rural living by helping build a brick house for an impoverished family.
