+ShabazzAllah1 Yes ! Dear , we are lucky to keep our ancient pharaonic Folk Dances ! As I researched this dance 'Hoy Dadoo' is linked to Thebes ,in Ancient Egypt ,the women are performing and symbolizing the hieroglyphs of Thebes (greek version) called 'Dado' in ancient pharaonic language
Bro its somali folk dance when you say jabuuti it seems like a none somali peoples even tho most people who live in jabuuti is my clan. even if somalis run around with different flags end of the day they are all Somali to me.

Ok My dear ! I become nervous ,because since my childhood in Djibouti,i used to listen that and all my Somalis brothers and sisters danced Hoydado and Harimaadee "Wilwile" ! I know that Afar dance is different ! You are Innocent ! The family member is maybe from the south of Somalia where there is another dialect ! But this Dance and Poetry is from the North of Somali territory , Djibouti,Diredawa and North of Somalia ( called Zeila,Lughaya region in Somaliland) Ask a Somali from Djibouti and from Somaliland or from Diredawa ! They will tell you , are you a foreigner , this is Somali Dance of our region !
