Should have put the waistband purse male Scots wear. But really for that to work because these tend to really make one wonder how big the butt is. Grew up with school gals wearing these( both an older and younger sisters) and honestly in my view. Do not wear these things unless you are unusually small in the hips.

Punk school girl is an '80s look. Really there is only so much you can do. Plaid keeps you from using patterns easily and because of connotations half the looks are going to look school gir.
@@recoil53 Tons of patterns work well with plaid (especially muted colour palette plaids like this) if you know how to balance and coordinate: bold stripes, leopard, newspaper clippings etc. 1000000% agree with OP on this one.
