Commentary is awesome, compared to the absolute drivel and vitriol on the Australian channels for the oz v India tests, my goodness me they are all so insufferable. Mathew Hayden is absolutely off his rocker, all the aussie commentators are so biased and pro ozi, they never shut up about all things Australian..hope India smash them I really do.

So it went in front of Brook. He called it. Woakes should have Woakesed up and run. Even if Woakes thought it was a silly call and there was never a run, Brook is the senior batsman and his wicket ought to be preserved. So Woakes effed up twice. Brook should have carried on running and made Woakes give up his wicket.
he's batting better down the order for sure, maybe they should move Crawley down to number 9 ffs he has been bad lately..when is he going to grow into that giant string bean of a body and mind.. he always looks like a shy 14 yr old boy. he needs to do some boxing or gym work and get angry, focused.

Latham, Conway, Blundell, Southee have been awful for so long.. they wouldn't make any other test team...if we lose this test...how about blooding a couple of new players, instead of doing the same stuff, expecting different results

So annoying when the licensed broadcaster posts only 6 mins highlights of a game that lasts 8 hours. You get longer highlights for football. We saw 3 shots Brook played scoring a century, and almost as many from Williamson who scored 37. What a waste of time.
@faramir yeah but Australia didn't win the last ashes series. They got very lucky to escape with a drawn series after being outplayed in 4 of the tests and being saved by 2 days or rain at old trafford when on the brink of defeat. So I'd call that a series dominated by England as well.

Probably more like greedy to squeeze a few more runs before they wrapped up the tail, and wanting to get on strike. I wouldn't put it down to losing interest. Plus when you've been at the crease that long you're bound to have lapses in concentration. He pulled us back from next to nothing for 4 anyway. Job done really.
I wouldn't say he lost interest. Feathering the ball through last match was an attempted late cut rather than a 'waft', and Woakes ran him out this time around. This is a man who has scored a 300, you know!

New Zealand's poor amateur performances against this average English side confirms my theory that India threw the series against us because NZ was not a danger to the points table for the world series. India is one of the worlds most corrupt countries on the planet ( corrupt from the very top to the very bottom ) and I am sure that the Indian bookies and the players did very well out of the lost series. India goes over to Australia and thrashes them in the first test. I rest my case.
