Now that Sonic X Shadow generations is referencing Shadow The Hedgehog the game and bringing back Black Doom, we may get lucky and have this song come back to promote the new game!

It's really heartwarming on how much M-Flo cares for Shadow. How the song managed to still appear in the group's releases as bonus content despite other commercial songs being discarded for legal reasons after their initial run is over. As for the game itself, Japan was where Sonic became a thing to begin with, and Shadow too. It's home in a way. Possibly representing on the game's true ending where Shadow moves on and actually gets chances to enjoy life. And it's shown at the place where things all started too! An upbeat song like this actually does fit Shadow's arc if you look deeply into things. After all, it's Shadow The Hedgehog baby!

Its funky groove attests to how Shadow stylishly runs and slides all over with ease. You should check who's on the mic, since the ultimate life form will grab your attention. We can also channel his speed into our wicked dance moves. The song overall is about finding genuine love through song and dance. That's important because despite Shadow's cold exterior and attitude sometimes, he ultimately protects humanity and their shared experiences. It's what he does in the true ending of the game as well. Shadows always watch over us. And we can all enjoy the pure fun of this tune because it’s Shadow the Hedgehog, baby.
@@max-ngamingmax5670 I know this is from a year ago, but originally it had a T rating, they removed the on screen image of Maria getting shot and removed a few other cuss words from the game to bring it back down to a E-10 rating. I think it should have been left as T to be honest.
@@myfellowsonicfans7131 You don't play Sonic games for the gameplay. You play Sonic games for the butt rockin' soundtracks, as they are frequently the only good thing about the game. Shadow the Hedgehog? Virtually unplayable, full of great songs. Sonic 06? Sent to market unfinished but with one of the most beautiful OSTs out there. Black Knight and Secret Rings are names 99% of people don't remember, but Seven Rings in Hand and Knight of the Wind still blow it out of the water every time. If the gameplay could even come close to the quality of their soundtracks, Sonic as a series would be a household name instead of the joke that it is.
@@philithegamer8265 Why wouldn't I want to play stages like Lethal Highway, Cosmic Fall, Air Fleet, Central City, Digital Circuit, Cryptic Castle, Death Ruins, Final Haunt, Space Gadget, Gun Fortress, and all that? Hell, I even enjoyed Lost Impact. I like all of the missions in the game. Even the ones people consider "bad" Except for "Mad Matrix" Dark Mission and the entirety of "The Doom." Apart from those four missions, I love the game
It's been over 8 years since I first heard this song in a video for the Japanese commercial of Shadow the Hedgehog. I really liked the sound so I searched high and low for who the band was. It introduced me to the amazing sound that is m-flo and I've been a huge fan of them ever since. That all said, I had no idea there was a full, CD quality version of this song. I am very happy to have found this. :D
I love that there's two versions of this song that mflo did, but that this version in specific, the shadow the hedgehog one with the extra lyric is the most funky sounding of the two.

If it weren’t for fujii kaze covering come again by m flo and lisa i wouldn’t have known of this collab with Sonic two years ago. I just decided to hear this whole song and it’s not bad og good and this one too.
I just can't stop listening to this. It's so good! It's hard to believe this remix was made for the Shadow the Hedgehog game specifically, of all Sonic games.
I had "m-flo" in caps as "M-Flo" but I think that was wrong, so I changed it to lowercase to more accurately reflect what they put in their channel. I hope I didn't break anything.
I had no knowledge of this which made think it was fake you know I thought i was just another mashup until I researched the song and found the commercial. I have a habit on not trusting the internet much in my case lol
@@sodaftpm185 A lot of people randomly hopped on to the hate train after 06 came out. Same reason Unleashed got a lot of unnecessary hate, because people associated all games around that time with 06(Secret Rings and the Black Knight being the area of effect, despite the former actually being pretty brutal to play and the latter being a huge step up from it's story book predecessor). Shadow the Hedgehog tends to play better than Heroes(they both ran on the same engine, and it felt more polished too), and isn't as difficult as say Heroes(Heroes takes quite the time to 100% outside of the side missions, but in a few playthroughs you can 100% Shadow the Hedgehog in it's entirety with A scores while Heroes takes quite the effort to try and can be mentally exhausting since a lot of the missions take quite the while to get through)
@@D.AblosFamilia Yes you're right, Shadow the Hedgehog or Sonic Unleashed or Black Knight wouldn't have gotten as much ridicule had Sonic 06... well... not ended up the way it did. That game really tainted Sonics image but thankfully Sonic Team and SEGA are finally attempting to move way from that fallout. Black Knight was definitely an overhated game.

It's really heartwarming on how much M-Flo cares for Shadow. How the song managed to still appear in the group's releases as bonus content despite other commercial songs being discarded for legal reasons after their initial run is over. As for the game itself, Japan was where Sonic became a thing to begin with, and Shadow too. It's home in a way. Possibly representing on the game's true ending where Shadow moves on and actually gets chances to enjoy life. And it's shown at the place where things all started too! An upbeat song like this actually does fit Shadow's arc if you look deeply into things.

@@myfellowsonicfans7131 You don't play Sonic games for the gameplay. You play Sonic games for the butt rockin' soundtracks, as they are frequently the only good thing about the game. Shadow the Hedgehog? Virtually unplayable, full of great songs. Sonic 06? Sent to market unfinished but with one of the most beautiful OSTs out there. Black Knight and Secret Rings are names 99% of people don't remember, but Seven Rings in Hand and Knight of the Wind still blow it out of the water every time. If the gameplay could even come close to the quality of their soundtracks, Sonic as a series would be a household name instead of the joke that it is.

@@sodaftpm185 Yeah, I really liked it. I got the game about seven months ago, and I thought it was good for thee many times I played it in that time.
@@sodaftpm185 A lot of people randomly hopped on to the hate train after 06 came out. Same reason Unleashed got a lot of unnecessary hate, because people associated all games around that time with 06(Secret Rings and the Black Knight being the area of effect, despite the former actually being pretty brutal to play and the latter being a huge step up from it's story book predecessor).
Shadow the Hedgehog tends to play better than Heroes(they both ran on the same engine, and it felt more polished too), and isn't as difficult as say Heroes(Heroes takes quite the time to 100% outside of the side missions, but in a few playthroughs you can 100% Shadow the Hedgehog in it's entirety with A scores while Heroes takes quite the effort to try and can be mentally exhausting since a lot of the missions take quite the while to get through)
@@D.AblosFamilia Yes you're right, Shadow the Hedgehog or Sonic Unleashed or Black Knight wouldn't have gotten as much ridicule had Sonic 06... well... not ended up the way it did. That game really tainted Sonics image but thankfully Sonic Team and SEGA are finally attempting to move way from that fallout. Black Knight was definitely an overhated game.
