    Mum does it again with the 6000, the only trouble is there will be nothing left for anyone after your mum has swept the area clean, good to see you have some sponsorship, on the subject of detecting, I had dug into the side of a huge mound of dirt and said to my mate he should detect where I have dug out the dirt so he got his detector out with it's new oblong coil and started, it was only about a three metre by three metre area so he did the sides first for nothing then along the bottom of the hole, digme, digme sounded where the dirt would have been two metres deep, I got extremely interested and got out of the comfort of my car and walked over, he dug and dug, I said the only way this isn't gold is if someone had fired a 303 directly into the ground at point blank range, he got exhausted and so I took over the digging, we were so close to his first nugget for the season, after two scoop outs with the pick I saw it and grabbed it, it was not a 303 projectile but an old 303 cartridge that must've been unloaded there sixty odd years ago, we were both a bit sad. I panned out the mats from the dirt I took from the other creek and only got two micro bits of gold that I think were stuck in the mat from last time so I say I got nothing but I watered my vegi patch and started to level out a work area down by the creek for the new pump spot, Have a good day. Leon

    Nice work, a few bits for the trip keeps you interested until the big one comes along. I just bought some moulded floor mats from Vic Off Road, quick delivery and they fit great. That swag looks the goods, nice bit of kit for sure. Cheers Pete

    The swwag is good but the mattress will go down through the night been there dun that

    • @GoldfieldsGoose
      @GoldfieldsGoose  หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      The mattress was sweet as, did not go down the first 2 nights...
      I ended up putting a pinhole leak in it last trip, which happened easier than I expected.
      I used the supplied patch kit...all good again.
      But I agree with your distrust of air mattress's in general.

      ~ Yes I have heard that the superior 6000 is like a SDC on steroids.
      ~ On Minelab’s chart the 6000 beats the 7000 on .05 and .1 gram gold, ties the same on 1 gram, then the 7000 is deeper than the 6000 on gold bigger than 1 gram.
      ~ Yes it is not necessarily the weight of the nugget that matters but rather instead it is the size of the surface area of the nugget facing the coil that really matters.
      ~ Also the different coil sizes make a difference.
