    Thank you for the great video will. I like that the backseats don’t move. One less mechanism to break down

      I too like that aspect of the backrests. But I also love the chaise lounge feature on the 25 and 27 footers. It makes for a super relaxing area on the swim platform.

    Great video. Thanks for posting Will! Out of curiosity...have you noticed that the new redesigned hulls for the 22 footers handle chop or rough water better than the previous 21 foot models?

      When we filmed this video it was our first day on the water so I don't have a ton of time behind the wheel. With that said I did not notice any real discernable improvement over previous generations. With time I may be able to tell more. It did ride well in the chop if that helps.

      @@dcouwlier I have not. Mostly just anecdotal evidence based on other comments in forums but nothing concrete from anyone that has operated a an older 210 model vs the new 220's.

    Is there a seat filler for that walk through portion from the swim platform to the deck like on the 255xe? It’s great, but you lose an additional seat.

    Got a question for you about Jet Boats in general. I just rented a Yamaha AR190 this past weekend. While we had fun on the boat, I found that the wake behind the boat is much more turbulent than a propeller driven outboard, I/O, or v-drive. In my opinion, a jet boat is really only ideal for pulling a tuber where you dont have to be concerned about the excessive jet wash behind the boat. I am curious to hear your thoughts about what its like skiing or wakeboarding behind your jet boat.

      We have seen many ski and wakeboard behind jets. My recommendation is to add some additional rope length back there to get your rider out of the splash zone. We've just created our own 75 foot tow rope which we hope to go live with this year.

    Great review. I have a 19' and thinking about upgrading. Does anyone know where that clip-on mirror at the helm came from? Yamaha gave me a crapping suction mirror that worthless. Looking for something exactly like this boat has. thanks.

      I think that's the Cipa mirror here: jetboatpilot.com/products/cipa-clamp-on-vision-180-mirror

    where are you actually losing the 2 feet difference between this 22 and the 25? the back swim platform area? middle? or front seating?

    • @JetBoatPilot
      @JetBoatPilot  10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Swim platform and cockpit seats seem to be the main areas.

    Hi Will. We just bought a 2023 AR220. Do you suggest ordering the thrust and lateral vectors you guys make? Or is it not necessary for the 2023’s?

    • @JetBoatPilot
      @JetBoatPilot  ปีที่แล้ว

      Those two items are our best sellers. Adding the two will give your new AR220 a significant increase in control around the dock and while in other low speed situations. I'd highly recommend them both. Also they're on sale through midnight tonight so if you plan to order consider doing so while the discounts are at off season levels.
