I use a one gallon lawn and garden sprayer. You can pump up the pressure yourself and they start at 20 bucks. Great for washing sand from out between your toes . Three gallon sprayer 60 bucks.
I added a 40g fuel tank from an Excursion, on-board air for bags and an out bound air supply for tires. A bedside power point. Now I need that water port! Cool!
That’s awesome! I could see that coming in handy after exiting a salty environment. We used to go to the oceano dunes and when the creek got full you’d have to cross and of course your truck gets a saltwater bath. The only problem is when you get out, there’s only one car wash in town to wash that salt water off your frame. Wait times could be an hour. I would use this for a quick rinse of the undercarriage if I had it installed.
This type of thing is becoming more popular in the overlanding community. I have seen more DIY setups than anything. Typically a 4" PVC pipe with end caps about 4' or 5' long mounted on roof racks with a valve to pressurize and a connection for a hose and shower head. They paint or coat them black so the water will warm up during the day. Probably under $50.
You can get similar if not quite as elegant results from and lawn sprayer. They are nice and portable and are a heck of a lot more affordable. I've been using a 3 Gallon one in the back of my jeep for years with a modified nozzle for more flow. They come in all shapes and sizes. There's a cool horizontal 10 gallon one with a 12v pump for under $100 I've been eyeing for a while.
That is nice. If there was a way to put a quick release for the tank and caring handle, it could be portable as well. You could use it for even more things.

Great investment have one in my truck. Changed out the cheap hose and upgraded to a flat 50' hose. Can access everything I need without problem, not worried about the paint on my truck, get inside of the truck easy for quick cleanouts after mud/hunting/kid throwing up. Great addition highly recommend.
Dang I love your truck!!! Mine is sitting at the dealership as we speak. Just have to figure out how to get it into my driveway . . . $$$$

Wow, that's really convenient and a really nice added feature to the truck I'd never seen anything like it before.
I see value in this product for the horsemen, and women, that show and compete in the various events at my local State Fair grounds. I was somewhat surprised the pricing was so reasonable.
I think the thing I like the most about the 2017s is the fact that the dually fenders are larger. It makes the truck actually look like a dually rather than a SRW with some fenders welded on. The earlier models didn't look right.

I like your review on this cool product. One cool thing would be if they have a tank that can be molded over the hump of the wheel in the bed of the pick-up truck. It is still a cool idea either way.
I was thinking the same thing watching the video. - a version that would straddle the wheel well protrusion would allow for a more clean and even less intrusive install.

Got mine on, they have really good customer service as well. I had to put mine on the other side because of my swing box. I'd post a picture if you could on here.
I saw one on a roof rack made of PVC and it had a fill port, a hose connection with a valve and a Valve stem on it. The filled it then put air pressure to the Shrader valve, theory is that it heats up going down the road from the sun. The water is hot or warm and pressurized.

I realize water can get heavy in quantities, but is there a larger tank available?
My thought is that extra capacity would be advantageous if you decided you wanted to carry more water. As long as you had the space for it, there would be no harm in having a half filled tank. The empty portion of larger tank wouldn't have a significant change in adding to the overall weight.

You could run a line from your air compressor for your bags to pressurize the tank. Just add a shut off valve so you can use as needed.

Great product. Maybe in the future it will have a built in hand pump so you can add pressure. Or even a electric pump to add pressure.

Far too small capacity IMO. They need to make it at least 2x volume and fill out the side of that bed wall better - I'm thinking something like the Titan Sidekick that secures snug to the wheel wells. Great concept though.

Jug of water with a hand pump sprayer is a lot cheaper option just add a hose head to the end. So 229 for that jug of water spray parts to modify it about 80. Vs 230 and you still need a pump
This would be great for my son-in-law when he takes the dogs to the dog park and they get all muddy. He could hose them off before bringing them home.
After I installed oversized tires my full size spare wouldn't fit under the bed anymore so I built a similar system where the spare used to be. 10 gallons though. Next will be onboard air so it automatically pressurizes.

Does it only come in black? Assuming it isn't insulated, I could see that water being pretty hot on a warm day if the tank is in full sunlight. Might not be the most pleasant for spraying on pets or people.
Does the manufacturer say if the water coming out is potable water. You focused on washing stuff but someone might think about drinking the water or using it for cooking. Seems it depends on what the tank is made of and if it gives off chemicals or a bad taste. Thanks for the video.
I have one of those on the kitchen sink at the house. Works great for washing off dishes. So when do the new bumpers come in? Also what about the new tires? I know your not happy with the HDR’s.
Great idea. I have an RV that I need fresh water while boondocks. But it takes pressurized water to get it into the RV fresh water tank. This could do it for me. Do they make a larger version?

Most campers have water tanks and 3 gallons wont do much in an RV. If you just want water in your truck this can be made easily at a home store with a few pieces of PVC pipe and hose
Will you be able to get all of the water out without having to repressurise the tank?
I had this idea probably 2 years ago... never did anything with it... im wondering if there is a pressure relief valve? And what its set to? Most residential air compressors go upto 120-150 psi.
Any water tank with a rv on demand pressure pump plumbed in would be about 100.00. Just need 12v to the pump. No loss of pressure.
There are 12v car wash pumps with hose for $40 on Amazon.
Have you had any issues with the Transmission on your Ford 1 Ton. I lean toward the GM with the Allison Trans: I think it is a great transmission and makes the GM a good choice. What is your opinion?

Pshhh. I use a 13 gallon spot sprayer typically used for pesticides or other fluids. Fits perfect under my tool box and has its own pump so you have constant pressure the entire tank. Took 5 minutes to drop a permanent wire in. Tractor supply or similar places for under $100..... At least I can hose off the sand off the ENTIRE FAMILY with 13 gallons.... and yes, as long as you had it new you can keep it potable water.

If you have a roybi battery air compressor you could keep constant pressure in it. I have the air compressor now I need a water tote
