- A look back over the last few months as I rebuild Tiare's galley. Plus we take our Wharram catamaran “Tiare” for a sail with all her sails up. She hasn't had all her sail up since we bought her. The previous owner had removed the inner forestay.
Having the inner jib does make a difference. Plus the security of an additional front stay.
Welcome aboard our sailing Wharram catamaran "Tiare", a Wharram Islander 55.
Currently living and sailing around the islands of Japan.
Join with us, as we explore what must be one of the most diverse, fascinating and challenging cruising destinations on the planet.
I look forward to sharing the adventure with you.
Daniel
------ Wharram Catamarans --------
Tiare is not your usual production catamaran, she is a Wharram Islander 55 and has been our home for ten years.
Wharram designed catamarans offer an affordable alternative for everyday people to cast off and cruise the world's oceans. Where keeping it simple, means the freedom to stay out for longer.
We hope these videos will inspire others to look at what it means, and takes, to live aboard while sailing the world.

Siap Bapak,
Was the sailing boat built at PT PAL Indonesia?
Very Nice Boat,
I really miss that sailing boat,
Hi, yes Tiare was built there. I’m happy you enjoyed sailing on her. If you’re in japan sometime drop me a line.
Thanks for sharing. If you ever decide to sell the boat let me know. Its my dream boat.
Thank for watching! Will let you know when that day arrives :)
Hi, What type is your Catamaran? Tiki 46? Have you own built the boat? I really enjoy your channel, congrats!!!
Tiare is a Wharram Islander 55. Was professionally built in Indonesia. We bought her when she was five years young :) Owned her for 11 years.

Requires thought and extra energy when able to make a sailing boat like that.
