I have a Libra ascendant with Jupiter in Virgo, according to tropical astrology. This placement has brought both intense challenges and blessings into my life. On one hand, it manifested very negatively early on, leading to an overwhelming obsession with health, fitness, and perfection. However, ironically, I've also experienced its positive manifestation as it played a significant role in my deeply healing from those negative experiences. It's fascinating how a placement can have such detrimental and beneficial impacts. I believe the earlier experiences with it can be a world of pain, but then it heals you, frees you. Though, there is always an obsessive component to it, I've realized. (This may be a personal thing, since my Jupiter is very badly placed in a strong square with my chart ruler.) If I'm not careful, I can get very obsessed with always "improving" either my physical or mental health. Always needing to be better... sorry for the info dump haha.😅😅 I really resonate with what you had to say in this video; I've been wanting a deep dive into this placement forever since getting into astrology. I don't know what it is with it that feels so much like a life path to me. Because even though I'm not lucky, I'm relaxed and I trust the world, I trust that everything will work out fine in the end. It feels deeply spiritual. It even affects how I dress and fashion myself. Though it doesn't make me lucky, I like how it provides me with the ability to know exactly what I need to heal myself. I definitely wouldn't give that away for anything. To me this placement, is the joy and beauty in life, but also the ugliness too. Feels like god or something.
What is so interesting is I have almost the exact same chart as you (only born about 4-5 days after you) and while listening to your libidinal analysis of Jupiter in Virgo with sexuality with your own examples I felt like things also had some relevance to our Mars-Pluto. Just some food for thought. Love your vids regardless brother 🫂❤️
Dope! Haha yes, one of the reasons I showed my chart was to instigate the reminder that everyone who has a planet in a sign can only speak to it with limited objectivity. I'd say you're right about our scorpio mars for sure. Thanks for watching and commenting!
Thank you for the video, Dustin! The cold reading you gave me a few weeks ago is still very present in my mind. What I still don't quite understand is that I have Jupiter (with Venus in conjunction) in Virgo as a Virgo Rising. However, Jupiter is in the Uttara Phalguni Nakshatra. Isn't that still in Leo?
Awesome Sylvia! For us Tropical Astrologers, the nakshatras revolve against the signs, due to something called "the precession of the vernal equinox." So the nakshatra uttara phalguni used to be associated with Leo, but now it is located in Tropical Virgo. In out system, the nakshatras were never intended to be 'blended' with the signs, bc the tropical signs move against them over thousands of years. Hope this helps!
Jupiter associated with the sacral chakra and Venus with the heart chakra doesn't make sense to me (I'm reading Decoding Zodiac at the moment, and it bothered me when I read it in there). I understand that it comes from associating signs with chakras, but as far as the planets themselves it seems to me they should be switched. Venus, rajas, water, generation, relational devotion, worldliness/daityaguru goes very well with the sacral chakra. Jupiter, sattva, ether, primordial sound, spiritual love/devotion, devaguru, the Guru makes much more sense to me in the anahata chakra.
Good thinking. The truth is that the chakras are multi-layered. Signs rule them one way, but planets rule them another, through the tattvas. Ether = Jupiter Air = Saturn Fire = Mars Water = Venus Earth = Mercury That's probably where you're getting the watery, sacral sense of Venus. Chakras are multi-facted in this way, and we must be discerning in using them with any one system, being flexible with our interpretations.
Have you noticed that Jupiter in Virgo tends to mix up things of the spiritual with practical things? Hence subscribing to all kinds of pseudoscience. Their belief gets into things where they were supposed to use their logic, a lot of things for them are ‘the ultimate truth’ Loved the detailed discussion, and that was not a dig at your Virgo Jupiter 😅, just something I have observed
Haha no i figured you were just working it out. Yeah, the book I read about 50 mins in by P Bhattacharya mentions that Virgo Jupiter does find the philosophical and religious ideas that they 'logically work out themselves' gains a nasty fundamental tone if they cannot be open to other ideas Its also frustrating bc the nature of a well-reasoned logic can turn the jup virgo's beliefs on a dime. That can 'scatter' one's deeper devotional capacities if a person is not careful.

Natal Jupiter and Saturn in Virgo 😊
Thanks for watching!
Did you notice that we (Jup in V) are nightmare for marketing departments? How can someone buy stuff based on commercials or influencers only? 😀

How do you interpret the placement of jupiter in Virgo in the 8th house at 14’32 degrees?
subtitle ???
The subtitle should come in time. It takes youtube a little while to prepare it. Perhaps a day or two, i believe.
So beautiful. I feel like this energy is similar to a female having Venus and mercury in Virgo. Intelligence and sensuality is incredibly sexy.
